We arrived around 2pm, just as the rain had stopped. It was very cold, so I finally put on my thick coat. Otherwise, I'd have used up all my coats for this Hulunbuir trip. We took the sightseeing bus right after entering the park, which took quite a while to get to our destination. After getting off, we continued deeper into the forest, where we saw squirrels, ostriches, reindeer, and more. It was definitely worth a visit.

Our 9-day, 8-night road trip through Inner Mongolia went largely as planned. On the third day, we drove from Erguna to the birch forest, which was quite close. In fact, the scenery is all along the way. We bought a scenic electric car and drove the 2 kilometers from the main gate to the scenic spot. Then we drove back, admiring and taking photos as we walked. We also climbed a small hill to the viewing platform, returned to the electric car station, and drove back to the main gate. It wasn't tiring at all. We bought a birch painting and drank some birch juice at the gate.
This is a scenic spot in Hulunbuir that is particularly worth recommending. It is not too hot and is worth seeing. The White Birch Forest Scenic Area is located along Provincial Highway 201 in Ergun City, Hulunbuir City, 40 kilometers away from the urban area. It has a planned area of 700 hectares (about 3 square kilometers) and is a national 4A-level tourist attraction. As the only pure natural birch forest belt in the Greater Khingan Range, its birch trees have the characteristics of multiple plants with the same root, up to ten plants with the same root, forming a unique ecological landscape. The white birch tree is known as the "beautiful girl in the forest". The trunk is white and elegant, the branches and leaves are lush, the scenery is different in each season, and the autumn is particularly spectacular.

It takes a long walk to get to the pier, passing the viewing platform and the racecourse on the way. The scenery is still good. The main purpose of coming here to cruise is to visit the boundary river. The Russian side is gray and there is nothing but a few dilapidated houses. The Chinese side is quite beautiful. In addition, it seems that you have to swim the river first to see the boundary markers. If you don't cruise, you can't see them.
Weishi is a very beautiful border town. If you don't use the phone's location, you'll think you're in Russia. The town's Russian-style street has food, drinks, and fun, and it's very lively.

Among the several boundary river cruises, I feel that this is the most cost-effective one. You can just sit in one of the several places. They are similar and the price is low. The boundary river cruise is still worth a trip. Take the boat to the bridge and turn around. You can take pictures of the scenery on the other side along the way. The scenery is very good, and there is a small village on the other side.
Opposite was a village inhabited by Russians. We used binoculars to look at Russia, and the Russians also used binoculars to look at us. The boat trip took about 30 minutes, and we had to wait until there were 15 people before we could start the boat.

The Olochi Manor is an open-air museum that shows a history of discovery on the Sino-Russian border, separated by a river, and the Russian town on the other side of the river. The staggered cultivation of wheat and rape forms a huge Tai Chi, which is very spectacular. The scenic spot also has several observation decks. Can see more clearly on the viewing platform. Very worth punching in.
I went there in the off-season, so there weren't many people. Only two spots were open. The manor is still under construction. I don't think the monorail is exciting enough, so I went to play the 10km go-kart off-road route. It rained the day before, and it felt so good to rush through the mud pits. As a result, I had to change my clothes and shoes back to the hotel. The girl at the first coffee shop was very nice. She introduced how to play in the manor, and I was generally satisfied.
