I've heard before that the local dishes in Sanhe are delicious, and they are indeed worthy of their reputation. This restaurant is located in Sanhe Town, right opposite the Sanhe Ancient Town Scenic Area. There are a lot of people queuing up. It feels much better than the dishes in the city. The environment is clean and hygienic. I especially like to eat the Huizhou stinky mandarin fish, which is like durian. It smells stinky but tastes delicious. The dry pot fresh river clams are also great, super delicious and go well with rice. You must come here to eat when you come to Sanhe Ancient Town. Although it was hot when I came, they have air conditioning, which is cool and great. The service is also very good
This restaurant is quite popular in the local area. We were introduced to this restaurant by a local. Fortunately, we came early, at around 5 o'clock, so we got a seat right away. Their dishes are delicious and the portions are big. When we finished eating, we saw many people still waiting for a table, haha.

It is said to be a relatively authentic Anhui cuisine restaurant, and the dishes taste pretty good. The signature dish is definitely the stinky mandarin fish, and the duck soup is also good. This is the first time I have eaten stinky mandarin fish in Hefei after many years. It seems that the stinky smell has been improved a lot compared to before, and it still tastes good.
Tongqinglou is a good local hotel, but the service at this hotel in Pearl Plaza is not very good. We booked a private room, but as the number of people who actually ate there was less than the reserved number, only three people showed up. In order to avoid cleaning up the turntable, the waiter asked us to eat on the card table!

I have been to Sanhe Ancient Town three times and have eaten at his restaurant twice. The hall and private rooms are very clean. The proprietress is very nice. Her dishes are basically delicious. Among them, the dishes worth recommending are stinky mandarin fish, steamed spareribs with lotus powder, and stir-fried small river shrimp. They are must-order dishes for both visits. The owner also uses real ingredients. 👍
