A visit to Xiamen is a must-do on Gulangyu Island. There are no cars on the island. After taking the morning ferry from Dongdu to Sanqiutian Wharf, you can stroll through a variety of buildings and private residences, surrounded by azure sea and sky. After visiting the attractions included in your combined ticket, you'll essentially complete your island tour before leaving by taking the evening ferry from Neicuo'ao Wharf. Gulangyu is also known as the Piano Island, and the Organ Art Center offers regular organ performances and exhibitions of various pianos and organs, offering a truly immersive artistic experience.
The island is really beautiful, and the scenery along the way is great. It's just that things are more expensive, but that's understandable because there are no cars on the island, and everything is done manually, so the prices are relatively high. You can bring some with you to the island in advance. These attractions are very unique and worth seeing, and I will come again.

Xiamen Botanical Garden is well worth a visit. The mist spray in the rainforest area is very stylish, and combined with the changing light, it's easy to capture stunning Tyndall-effect photos. The downsides are that there are too many people taking photos, the rainforest trails are narrow, and mosquitoes are rampant. The succulent area is mainly populated by various cacti, which are overly exposed to the sun in summer and can easily cause stings. Overall, the service in the park is very smooth, and the staff are very knowledgeable in providing directions and instructions.
Important Tips: The botanical garden mainly involves hiking, which consumes a lot of energy. It is best to enter from the west gate and exit from the south gate to save energy. There is a shuttle bus not far from the west gate entrance. It is strongly recommended to buy a full bus ticket for 10 yuan. (In fact, it is not because the botanical garden is too high. People in the north often hike, so this is not a big deal. It is mainly because the weather is hot and humid, which can easily consume a lot of energy and water.) The west gate is relatively close to the rainforest area and the succulent area. (Remember to bring a few bottles of water). After the tour, you can wait for a car on the roadside to continue the tour. The south gate exit is all downhill (the 6-level sightseeing elevator is fine, but it is difficult to get a taxi at the south gate exit, so you need to book in advance.

It's a good hike, with beautiful views. The round trip takes 40 minutes, and aside from being a bit hot in the summer, there aren't any other issues. The waiting time is about 30 minutes (at 10 AM on a summer weekend).
We booked it in advance on Ctrip, which was very convenient. We waited in line for a short while before we got on. The cable car is quite long and offers a great view overlooking the botanical gardens. The other side is the ocean, which is a lovely view. It's air-conditioned and quite comfortable.

It is worth going. Pingtan highlights: the island scenery is beautiful, the blue tears are wonderful and dreamy, the road around the island is comfortable, the stone ancient village is unique, and the seafood is delicious. There are also wind power fields, elephant nose bay and other net red punch points, which is a good place for leisure and vacation.
The beauty of Pingtan Island is a rhapsody unleashed by the Creator. Stretching along 408 kilometers of coastline, the basalt canyons of Xianrenjing (Fairy Well) appear to have been carved by a giant axe. At low tide, stepping into the 47-meter-deep well, waves crashing against the black reef stir up thousands of snowdrifts. The slanting morning light feels like stepping into the secret realms of Iceland. Sunsets at Changjiangao are a visual wonder: a 3,000-acre array of windmills is reflected on the mirror-like beach. When the tide recedes, pink-blue shells scatter like stardust. At night, "blue tears" sparkle with the waves, like diamonds scattered on deep blue silk. Even more remarkable is the preservation of the character of a pristine fishing island. The clifftop road of the northern ecological corridor connects the colorful stone houses of Baisheng Village. Fishermen's nets hanging out to dry tremble in the wind, and the salty sea breeze carries an untamed wildness. For nine years, Pingtan has strived to balance development and conservation, anchored by an international style and youthful fashion. Smart tourism systems are already bearing fruit: Longwangtou Beach features real-time visitor flow monitoring, automatic flushing pools, and smart public toilets, significantly enhancing the visitor experience. The integration of culture and tourism is also a highlight: the Keqiutou Site Museum condenses 7,000 years of Austronesian civilization into an immersive exhibition; the "Planet Calling" Seaview Theater in Tannan Bay uses light and shadow to recreate the spectacle of the Blue Tears, bringing culture from the academic realm to the masses. However, over-commercialization is encroaching on some corners: the ancient architectural complex of Haitan Ancient City has been reduced to a cookie-cutter Yiwu small commodity market, and the throngs of people jostling for photo spots at the "Eye of the Strait" observation deck on Houyan Island often leave travelers feeling a sense of loss. Pingtan's ambitions extend beyond being a popular online destination. Events such as the International Kiteboarding Festival and the F4 Racing Carnival ignite excitement along the coast. Sailing activities at Pier 22 allow visitors to transition from simply "watching the sea" to "playing in it," signaling its progress toward becoming a full-time vacation destination. However, shortcomings remain: the public transportation network is weak, and the infrequent island-wide bus service forces tourists to rely on expensive chartered vehicles. Some homestays advertised as "sea view rooms" are actually located in remote villages, making the bumpy dirt roads a heart-wrenching journey home late at night. By strengthening ecological protection (for example, limiting commercial development along the northern corridor) and cultivating its unique cultural heritage (for example, reviving the intangible cultural heritage of rattan shield exercises), this "island closest to Taiwan" can truly become the Hawaii of the East. Pingtan is a gem sculpted by sea and wind—it boasts some of China's finest coastal scenery and stunning starry nights, yet it continues to vacillate between extensive development and sophisticated operations. If restrained craftsmanship replaces the short-sighted pursuit of traffic, it will surely shine as the brightest pearl of the Strait.

Wuyi Mountain is indeed worth recommending. The Jade Maiden Peak stands like a young girl, Jiuqu River, Dahongpao, etc. are all must-see places. The most shocking one is Impression Dahongpao, with its rotating stage and colorful lights... I want to watch Impression Dahongpao again
Entering the park with your ID card is very convenient, and after that, you only need to scan your face to board the bus at each attraction. My only regret was that I didn't get to ride the bamboo raft. You should book in advance during the summer. I heard it's even more crowded during Golden Week, but I was very satisfied with the crowds for the summer. Although the temperature was acceptable, it was still very hot. I decided to just explore the national park on my own, climbing and hiking whenever I wanted. It was very flexible and comfortable. The air was fresh, and the clear water and mountains were refreshing. It's worth a visit!

The scenery of Hulishan Fort is very beautiful, and you can also learn about the history of the bombardment of Kinmen and the past resistance against foreign enemies. The overall feeling after the tour is very good, the sea view is very beautiful, and you can see some of the islands of Kinmen, which is impressive.
The attraction isn't very large, but it's worth a visit for those interested in history. Several viewpoints offer distant views of the Twin Towers and the Kinmen Islands. Getting on and off is easy, whether by bus or taxi.

I really like the Taoist concept of "Tao follows nature". I came here for the reason that "Laozi is the best in the world". I like it very much. It takes some time to walk down the mountain after taking the bus. The scenery is good. I will come again next time if I have the chance.
Laojun Rock was featured in a video about Aerial Photography of China, so I came here because of its reputation. In the tourist-heavy Quanzhou, it's a quiet spot, sparsely populated. Laojun Rock isn't hidden very far, and you'll find it after a short hike. It's a relatively natural scenic spot, primarily for hiking, so it's not very interesting. It's said that there's no entrance fee in the morning or evening, but the regular price is 70 yuan for adults and 35 yuan for children/students, which is a bit steep. It's said that if you hike further, you'll find some scenic spots and teatimes. Our visit was rather haphazard, so this review isn't comprehensive, so it's for reference only.

The earth buildings are scattered throughout a village. It is recommended to stay overnight. The night view is quite beautiful. I personally recommend hiring a tour guide, or just taking a quick look. Many residents still live in the earth buildings, which are very lively.
The Chengqi Tower, the king of earthen buildings, boasts a stunning architecture. Its massive 73-meter diameter and over 400 rooms, a structure of circles within circles, a circle within a circle, exemplifies the masterful architectural skills of the ancients. Its rich cultural heritage allows visitors to experience the Hakka people's dedication to traditional virtues. The scenic beauty of Chengqi Tower, nestled between mountains and water, is surrounded by dozens of large and small earthen buildings, both round and square. The area boasts comprehensive amenities and a restaurant. However, the area is heavily commercialized, with some of the local guides being indigenous, who offer less than professional explanations and high ticket prices.

It's great for self-driving, I would call it a painless tour! Navigate to the Tianluokeng Viewing Platform, park the car and walk 20 meters to the viewing platform, you don't need to walk a lot
This scenic spot is worth visiting for its historical heritage, centuries-old earthen buildings, centuries-old banyan trees, refreshing rivers, and simple people. Today, I was particularly impressed by our guide, Xiao Luo, who was very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly, and made our visit to the Nanjing Shilou Scenic Area even more intimate.

Need to make an appointment in advance, enter on time, not many people, went to the Furong Tunnel, the cultural and creative store in the past is gone, but there is also a small shop opposite, there is a car repair haha, 985 University is different, it feels really beautiful, it is also very clean, there are many student dormitory, but the summer vacation is not there, There are also many varieties of cultural and creative, and I bought this book and bought one for one free.
Xiamen University (Xiamen University), referred to as XMU, is located at No. 422 Siming South Road, Siming District, Xiamen City, Fujian Province (main campus). It is a comprehensive research-oriented national key university directly under the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China and a centrally-administered university. It is a national "double first-class" university construction university, a leading university in the national "2011 Plan", and a key construction university of the national "211 Project" and "985 Project". It is also the first university founded by overseas Chinese in China's modern education history and one of the earliest universities in China to recruit graduate students. Xiamen University was founded by patriotic overseas Chinese leader Mr. Tan Kah Kee in 1921. In March 1928, it was registered as a private university by the government. From 1929 to 1933, Tan Kah Kee's enterprises were forced to close due to the world economic crisis, and Xiamen University was unable to maintain its operation. He unconditionally donated Xiamen University to the government. On July 1, 1937, Xiamen University was changed to a national university. In September of the same year, due to the war, the school moved to Changting. In 1984, it obtained a master's degree authorization point. In 1986, it was granted the doctoral degree authorization. In 1997, it was listed as a key construction university of the national "211 Project". In 1998, it was listed as a key construction plan of the "985 Project".
