My friend and I stayed at the Beibu Gulf Innovation and Entrepreneurship Cluster Youth Hostel near Beibu Gulf. It's a 10-minute walk to the beach. The environment was fantastic, and you could see the windmills on the mountain. It was full of young people, and we could easily plan trips to various attractions together.

Ancient trees line the stone steps of the ancient path, and halfway up, you can hear the bells of Yongquan Temple, instantly bringing a sense of peace. Taking the cable car down allows you to watch the sunset, making it even more enjoyable than expected. After descending the mountain and returning to Pingtan, I went straight to the Seafood Xiaobailou restaurant and ordered a bowl of seafood noodles. The broth was sweet and flavorful, and the ingredients were generous. In the evening, back at the Shuangchuang Julu Hostel, a little kitten in the courtyard meowed and came over. The owner, upon hearing I'd come from Shangxiahang, laughed and said I'd crossed two cities in one day. There are no activities during the day, and it gets very hot in the summer, so you can come in the evening. The evening shows are more exciting, and the performances are all after 7:30 PM. There are no buses at night, so you have to take a ride home yourself!

They thoughtfully recommend suitable dishes based on our appetites, preventing waste. We ordered steamed sea fish, stir-fried clams, garlic oysters, and boiled shrimp. Every ingredient tasted fresh and sweet, as if it had just been caught from the sea. The cooking and seasoning were just right, without using excessive spice or oil to mask the natural freshness of the seafood. The ingredients were carefully prepared, without any sand or off-flavors, and the texture was exceptionally good.

In the evening, stay at Beibu Gulf Innovation and Entrepreneurship Hostel. Right outside the windmill lake, it's clean, comfortable, and offers excellent value. You might even meet some amazing travel buddies! Beautiful scenery, delicious food, and comfortable accommodation – all in one place! Highly recommended!
