Aside from the lack of hotel pickup and the need to get up early to reach the meeting point, everything else was flawless. The land guide was very professional! We chose the bus + Samsung Cruise. The bus guide contacted the pick-up location in advance and picked us up on time early in the morning. It took more than half an hour to get to the pier. The guide explained the relevant things on the way. When we got to the pier, we saw many cruise ships waiting side by side. We boarded the ship based on the number and name. Some of the Samsung ships have different types. I bought the upper floor. There is a small balcony in front of the second floor where I can enjoy the breeze, take pictures, and enjoy the scenery. There are fewer people on the second floor than on the first floor, but the view on the top floor is the best, but it is sunny, so most people watch from the top floor. Lunch is provided on the boat, and the taste is average. You can go to Yangshuo for lunch, but most areas in Yangshuo are commercialized.

I highly recommend Ruyi Peak, the scenic area is very beautiful, with a different view at every step, just like a thousand-mile river and mountain painting, which is very shocking. The scenic area is designed to be a loop, and you must go to the highest point for a 360-degree view. There are not many steps to go up, so it is basically no problem.
A must-visit when you come to Yangshuo. Our overall experience was fantastic. First, we took the cable car up to the scenic area, then walked through the mountains. The view was mesmerizing, and you'll realize how wonderful nature is, as created by God. Be prepared to get sweaty and walk for more than two hours. Make sure to wear sunblock and mosquito repellent if your skin is sensitive. Today was less crowded, so we were able to explore more comfortably and efficiently. Definitely worth the money and the experience.

Absolutely stunning! The scenery is picturesque, with mountains and water mingling, and the air is fresh. The facilities are excellent, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Transportation is also quite convenient, so make your own travel plans. I absolutely recommend it!
It's really big inside and quite picturesque, but it's hot and sunny. There are large green lawns, which used to be a golf course. If you go there with children, remember to rent a car, as those cars are very expensive and slow.

Diecai Mountain.
The ticket price was cheap, only 37.5 for a couple, but the scenery was stunning. It was overcast that morning, and the wind was strong, so it wasn't hot at all.
This mountain has a famous wind tunnel, which truly blows a cool 26-degree breeze like air conditioning. The staff said that even when the temperature outside is still, the wind is still blowing through this tunnel—it's magical.
Climbing to the top is effortless, and you can see the entire river view and the mountains of varying heights and distances. Guilin's mountains are truly unique, with their staggered and undulating shapes. Their random shapes, however, create a beautiful scene when connected together.
There's a stone tablet at the top with the inscription: "Climb Diecai Mountain and live to be 130!" What a beautiful auspicious meaning.
We spent quite a while at the top, then descended to climb the nearby Crane Mountain. This mountain is truly covered in large white birds—I'm not sure if they are cranes. Why do these birds only perch on this one of so many other mountains? I don't know the reason.
There is another huge hole halfway up the mountain. I found that almost all the mountains in Guilin have holes, and they are all transparent holes. No matter which mountain I see on the road, there will be a hole in it. It is magical.

As a Guilin native, I have never been to Maoer Mountain because many people say it is dangerous. In fact, it is not dangerous at all. I went there at the end of July. The top of the mountain was not cold at all. There was no need to wear long sleeves. The mountain is actually shaded by trees. Only the top of the mountain needs sun protection. The rest of the mountain is quite cool.

It's worth going, fun and exciting, but not dangerous. No one fell into the water and got hurt, and I didn't see anyone else fall into the water. The whole process took about an hour. Remember to buy a scoop for each person to use for paddling, otherwise you can only use your hands. You have to pay to store your bag, the small one is 20, the medium one is 40, and the large one is 60 or 80, I don't remember. You have to scan the code to pay for the hair dryer before you can use it. The bath water is quite hot, and the ginger tea is delicious.
I think this is the most fun and exciting rafting in China. The distance is long, the time is long, the slope is steep, and the water is a bit cold. However, there are ginger tea and hot showers after getting off the boat, which made me feel better immediately. I have played it twice. It is not bad. I suggest that you play more sessions. It is best to go on the last night in Yangshuo when you stay in Xingping Ancient Town. This way, it is close to Yangshuo Railway Station.
