Seek the dream of a thousand-year-old Minyue region and embark on a journey through a water town. ✨ By day, stroll along the cobblestone streets, where white walls and black tiles reflect in the clear water. The ancient Yanfu Pagoda stands serenely, and tourists in Hanfu (traditional Han clothing) can be seen everywhere. Every step reveals a new scene, brimming with the ancient charm of Minjiang. As night falls, the water town truly shines. Lanterns light up one after another, their glow reflected on the lake, shimmering and dancing. Flower boat parades and traditional Chinese performances take place in turn. The breathtaking "Seeking the Dream of a Thousand-Year-Old Minyue" water show weaves together light and sound, telling the story of the Maritime Silk Road. A gentle evening breeze and romantic fireworks create a tranquil escape from the daily hustle and bustle, allowing you to immerse yourself in the thousand-year-old splendor of this blessed city.
The night view was quite beautiful, and it wasn't too crowded during the National Day holiday. The food and entertainment inside were a bit pricey, but that's unavoidable for a tourist attraction. The evening shows started a bit late, and the kids needed to sleep, so we couldn't wait for the fireworks and the iron flower display.

5-star review! The Fujian Provincial Museum is definitely worth setting aside half a day for. Located by West Lake, the architecture is grand, the collection is rich, and it offers an immersive experience of Fujian's thousand-year history. The exhibits related to the Maritime Silk Road are particularly impressive. Free admission makes for a fantastic experience. A must-visit in Fuzhou to experience Fujian's cultural heritage! After Fuzhou, head straight to the Pingtan North Line! For dining, the top choice is Beibu Gulf Seafood Restaurant (小白楼). The owner is very honest, the seafood is caught and cooked fresh daily, prices are clearly marked, and the seafood retains its natural flavor—it's incredibly fresh and sweet. The owner's wife is also very welcoming and will share tips on chasing bioluminescent plankton. For accommodation, I recommend the nearby Shuangchuang Julu Youth Hostel! The rooms are clean and tidy, the common areas have a great atmosphere with a reading room and relaxation area, and the courtyard is perfect for taking photos. The owner will provide Pingtan sightseeing routes, and you can meet travelers from all over the world. It's very close to the Beibu Gulf coastline, making it super convenient for exploring the North Line. A top choice for backpackers and young people, this combination of cultural experiences, sea views, and delicious food is perfect!
I've always made it a habit to take my kids to visit the local museum whenever we visit a new city! This time, my kids and their teachers visited the Fuzhou Museum! We were lucky enough to book a guided tour with "Bangtang Hong"—she's beautiful, patient, and meticulous with our group of children, and her cultural knowledge is solid and profound! You could feel her sincerity towards us tourists from out of town, and she even gave us extra explanations to expand our knowledge! In short, it was an absolutely worthwhile experience and a perfect guided tour! 💖👍👍👍👍👍 It allowed both children and adults to experience a different kind of cultural history! Thank you, Hong! I highly recommend Bangtang Hong; I hope everyone has the chance to book her guided tour!!! Superb, superb, superb! 🎉🎉🎉 Thank you again 🙏 Hong, thank you for your hard work 💕🫶

When visiting Fuzhou, a leisurely stroll through the Three Lanes and Seven Alleys is a must. Walking on the cool cobblestone streets, looking up at the staggered saddle-shaped walls, white walls and gray tiles, you'll see the quintessential old Fuzhou. No need to rush to see the must-see spots; just wander into any alley, and you'll find ancient houses and courtyards brimming with stories. The streets are bustling with the aroma of everyday life—meat dumplings, fish balls, and peanut soup fill the air—a truly blissful experience as you stroll and savor the delicious treats.
The location is superb, right next to the Longmen Transfer Center. You can go canyoning right outside the hotel, and it's quite close to Longmen Pool. The hotel is also very clean. Although it was raining, the room was very dry, not as damp as I had imagined. I especially loved the terrace; the view was amazing in the morning. The food was also good, quite tasty, although eating in the scenic area is generally expensive, but that's understandable. I'd definitely book here again next time I visit.

The museum houses over 390 manuscripts, letters, and anti-drug artifacts, with the couplet "I would give my life for the country" on the wall particularly highlighting his integrity. Stroll through Shangxiahang, fulfilling an old rendezvous with Fuzhou. The Sanjie River flows gently through the streets, the Santong Bridge lies serenely on its surface, ancient houses line both banks, saddle-shaped walls rise and fall gracefully, and red lanterns sway gently in the evening breeze. This place was once a bustling ancient port for Fujian merchants, the bluestone slabs worn smooth by time, and the old banyan trees with their luxuriant roots telling tales of a prosperous past.

Fuzhou, a city blessed with good fortune, offers opportunities to soak in hot springs, enjoy seafood, and take a night cruise on the Minjiang River – a truly relaxing and pleasant experience. The electric cruise ship is particularly noteworthy; it's quiet, and you can sit at the bow and admire the night view – a wonderful experience.
Unexpected tea and dance performance during scenic turnaround spots. Attentive and professional staff

Gushan Mountain in Fuzhou is definitely worth a climb. The mountain forests are serene, and the cliff carvings are rich in cultural heritage. Climbing to the top offers panoramic views of the city and allows you to truly appreciate the mountain scenery of Fuzhou, a city blessed with good fortune. Moving on to Beibu Gulf in Pingtan, for dining, look no further than Beibu Gulf Xiaobailou. Their freshly caught seafood is incredibly sweet, and you can enjoy your meal on the terrace overlooking the sea. The owner is so friendly that he can even take you to see bioluminescent plankton. For accommodation, choose Shuangchuang Julu Youth Hostel. It's clean, comfortable, and has a strong travel atmosphere. It's very close to all the must-see spots along the northern route, making island travel super convenient. A one-stop recommendation for food and lodging along the northern route of Pingtan! ✨
Seafood Restaurant (小白楼) has an excellent reputation. The owner is honest and transparent, with clearly marked prices to avoid overcharging. Seafood is caught daily, ensuring freshness and plumpness. The cooking methods are authentic and flavorful, with dishes like boiled shrimp and steamed crab bursting with sweetness. Local snacks are also authentically flavorful. Portions are generous, and the price is great. They even offer free guided tours to see the bioluminescent plankton (blue tears), making it a reliable choice for seafood in Pingtan. Gushan Mountain is majestic and serene, with winding hiking trails and ancient temples nestled among the trees. From the summit, you can enjoy panoramic views of Fuzhou, including the river and city. The air is fresh, making it a great place for leisurely hiking and relaxing. It combines cultural and natural beauty for a truly pleasant experience. Ticket collection was convenient, entry was smooth, and the operation was very experienced. The weather was also great that day; it didn't rain, and I was able to see the entire performance. As for the show itself, having seen five of the Impression series before, this one was just average, nothing particularly amazing, especially the projection segment in the middle which I really didn't understand what it was trying to convey.
The 360-degree rotating seating and the stage blending seamlessly with nature are innovative. As for the performance, I didn't fully understand it; perhaps art has a certain level of sophistication. It's worth seeing when visiting Wuyishan, but if you're an ordinary person like me, there's no need to buy a VIP ticket.

There's no excessive commercialization, and the bamboo raft boatmen are quite interesting and don't charge extra. A special shout-out to the "One Line Sky"! Having climbed countless "One Line Skys" across the country, only this one is truly authentic!! A place where you can calmly focus on the scenery, a truly peaceful and beautiful landscape.
Wuyishan is truly worth a visit! The verdant mountains and the bamboo rafting experience on the Nine Bend Stream are superb. The water is crystal clear, and the Danxia landforms on both banks are picturesque, with the boatmen providing engaging commentary. Climbing Tianyou Peak offers panoramic views and a breathtaking vista, with the mountain air incredibly fresh. The rock tea is fragrant and mellow, and the local cuisine is also very distinctive. The overall pace is relaxed, blending nature and culture seamlessly. However, it can get quite crowded during holidays, so it's recommended to travel during off-peak times. It's a truly therapeutic mountain and water journey.

Half a day is enough. You can choose to visit Niulanggang Seaside Park nearby. If you want to go to Yushan Island, it is more cost-effective to buy a combined ticket. Yipianwa and Jigerendong are good experiences. The seaside boardwalk is nothing special. Overall, it is okay.
The scenery is stunning on a clear day, but not highly recommended in foggy or rainy conditions. The four official routes are all fine; the signage within the scenic area is excellent, and you'll be fine just by following the signs. The latter half of Route D is particularly recommended, as it offers many breathtaking views.
