It's definitely a must-visit tourist destination in Xi'an. It's worth visiting if you want to learn about history, but if you're looking for a park experience, there's not much to see, and it's not very cost-effective.
Beautiful place to visit, great if you have time to slowly stroll as the area is very big. For a better experience, check the show times and plan the visit accordingly

There were no signs along the way, so I took a lot of wrong turns. There were very few seats inside the museum to watch the shows, and there weren't many tourists. The places to visit were just average, but the scenes were indeed very Tang Dynasty-style, and I could take some great photos. Overall, the value for money was so-so. If you have enough time, you can still go and have a look!
Strolling through the streets of Chang'an Twelve Hours, the melodious sounds of ancient music fill the air, the fragrance of sandalwood permeates the atmosphere, and exquisite Tang Dynasty handicrafts are on display everywhere, making it a place you'll want to linger.

The breeze of history whispers past my ears; the former glory has faded, leaving only ruins that bear no trace of the past. Yet, the Daming Palace in my heart can be ever-changing, allowing me to stroll quietly and contemplate in silence.
Shaanxi History Museum: Advance reservations are required. It has 7 halls; halls 1, 2, and 3 are closed for renovations. Halls 4 and 5 are very small; the main exhibits are in halls 6 and 7. A guided tour of halls 6 and 7 costs approximately 350 yuan and takes about 2 hours. There is no self-guided audio guide. It's quite expensive. Da Ci'en Temple: There is a free incense offering area. Climbing the Big Wild Goose Pagoda is not included; an additional fee is required. It takes about an hour to see everything. The musical fountain at the North Square of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda is magnificent and beautiful. There are two shows at 8 pm and 9 pm, each about 20 minutes long, worth watching. Afterwards, I strolled to the Tang Paradise. This was my second visit; it wasn't anything new, just a commercial street with no shows, and the food was very expensive. Daming Palace National Heritage Park: This was my second visit. It wasn't crowded during the week. Enter through Danfeng Gate. There's a Danfeng Gate Museum; a combined ticket allows entry. At the exit, there's a mini-train (39 yuan per person) that circles the outside of the Daming Palace National Heritage Park. From the exit, walk across the bridge to the ticket checkpoint. After entering, I recommend taking the park's electric shuttle bus. It costs 29 yuan per person, 39 yuan per person during peak season, to reach the Daming Palace Ruins Museum. I suggest buying the Ctrip all-inclusive ticket for 88 yuan, which includes the entrance fee (60 yuan), the shuttle bus, and a free guided tour. The visit inside takes about 40 minutes. After exiting the museum, you'll see a miniature landscape of Daming Palace. After viewing the miniature landscape, you can take the shuttle bus to tour the entire site. You can get off at any time, but it's not really necessary; you can see everything from the bus. The shuttle bus also provides commentary. It goes all the way to the park exit. Xi'an City Wall I entered from the south entrance of Yongning Gate and exited from Hanguang Gate, which took about 40 minutes. If you walk and rest occasionally, it should take about half an hour. It's very sunny in the morning during this season; I recommend going in the evening if you're in summer. There are also bicycles for rent on the city wall for 45 yuan for 3 hours.

I bought my tickets online and entered directly with my ID card – it was very smooth. Because I came on short notice and the timing wasn't ideal, I couldn't book my preferred guide. Overall, it was a truly breathtaking experience, a feast for the eyes with all sorts of different calligraphic styles.
Although the tickets are expensive, they are absolutely worth it. The buildings of the new museum and the gardens of the old area are scenic in themselves; even a cursory glance would take two hours, and a serious visit would take at least half a day.

I fell in love with Xi'an on my first trip there, and this show is definitely a must-see. There's also a haunted house, and people can take photos with the characters. Of course, there are also snacks available if you get hungry, although the taste isn't great. Overall, the show was very entertaining.
The Xi'an Qianguqing Scenic Area is clean and tidy, with beautifully landscaped gardens and small surprises everywhere. The Qianguqing performance was beautiful, exciting, and truly captivating. I'm still savoring the performance after returning home. The theater itself is also clean and tidy, with clear signage, so you don't have to worry about getting lost. There are also plenty of rest areas, so you can rest whenever you feel tired.

The performance was absolutely stunning and incredibly immersive. However, my ears couldn't take it anymore by the end; I kept thinking about the sound system. The lights in the last few minutes were blindingly bright.
Five stars! "The Mighty Qin Dynasty" truly deserves its title as the pinnacle of Xi'an's cultural tourism! This was a performance that gave me goosebumps throughout and left me deeply moved long after the curtain fell! Told from the perspective of "Hei Fu," a craftsman specializing in terracotta warriors, the show intertwines the grand epic of the Qin Dynasty's unification of China with the individual's joys and sorrows. The patriotic sentiment of "How can we say we have no clothes? We share the same robes!" is deeply touching. I couldn't help but shed tears during the scene where the terracotta warriors enter the pit. The moving audience seating was absolutely stunning! Moving continuously with the plot, combined with a holographic water screen, breathtaking sound effects, and realistic rain scenes, it felt like truly traveling back to the ancient battlefield two thousand years ago. The assassin Jing Ke descended from the sky to try and kill the Qin emperor was truly terrifying. The stage design was incredibly detailed; the inverted Epang Palace swept overhead, and the moment the terracotta warriors emerged from the earth was awe-inspiring—every scene was a visual feast. The actors' performances were nuanced and captivating, perfectly capturing the spirit and resilience of the Qin people. The entire performance combined historical weight with an immersive experience powered by technology, flawlessly interpreting the profound meaning of "China is where the Chinese civilization began." This is a must-see performance in Xi'an, absolutely worth the special trip!

The guided tour exceeded my expectations. I regret that I forgot to ask the guide's name. The tour was exceptionally good. It lasted from 2:30 to 5:00 and we still wanted more. The guide even gave us a special talk about the stone carvings. It was outstanding!
I'd been looking forward to visiting Luobo for a long time, but the biggest surprise of this trip wasn't just its unparalleled collection, but also our encounter with our award-winning guide, Mr. Dawei. About the Collection The richness of the Luoyang Museum's collection completely exceeded my expectations. From the magnificent bronze artifacts of the Xia, Shang, and Zhou dynasties to the diverse pottery figurines of the Han and Wei dynasties; from the magnificent Tang Dynasty sancai (three-colored glazed pottery) to the golden nanmu Buddhist shrines of the Qing Dynasty. Especially the unique Tang Dynasty sancai, exquisite bronzes, and stone Buddha statues imbued with the imperial grandeur—each one a national treasure, a breathtaking sight, deeply astounding the depth and breadth of Heluo civilization. About the Guide I enjoyed Mr. Dawei's guide this time. He completely overturned my stereotype of guides who simply read from a script. He not only explained the origin of each item, but also shared the story behind it, why it was important, and the relevant craftsmanship, techniques, and development process. His explanations were incredibly engaging. He was able to connect the dots between the entire story of a cultural relic, from domestic and international events, leaving you stunned and truly learning! His presentations were incredibly engaging, and you could tell he truly loved history. We were also captivated, never bored at all. After this trip, it felt more like I wasn't just visiting a museum, but rather like I'd traveled back in time with him. The artifacts came alive in his words, each with its own story. If you're going to the Luoyang Museum, I highly recommend listening to Professor Dawei's lectures! It's absolutely worth the 198 yuan ticket price and the most rewarding part of the trip. In summary: It's well worth the money, and the "30% viewing, 70% narration" approach was truly enjoyable today.

The guide, Mr. Li Jiang, was very helpful and his explanations were comprehensive. The Xi'an Museum also has some excellent exhibits and is quite spacious. It's best to visit both indoors and outdoors when the weather is nice.
In autumn, the Xi'an Museum is ablaze with red persimmons and golden ginkgo leaves, creating a unique and photogenic atmosphere. Of course, the cultural relics in the Xi'an Museum are also well worth seeing, such as the tricolor flying horse, the Qin jade cup, and the interlocking cloud and thunder pattern cauldron... Each artifact has a different story and historical culture.

🤝💓I could never leave you again, you got what you wanted🌊🍃There was no hiding, we were having a secret rendezvous🐺✊Everyone can lose, why can't it be you🌙💋A moment of passion is worth a thousand pieces of gold🍬🔪Knowing it's sugar wrapped in a knife, I still willingly sink deeper and deeper into your trap💕💞Because of you, we will definitely be of one heart
Climbing to the top of the Stork Tower, one can gaze at the Yellow River where the water meets the sky, and the expansive view instantly relaxes the mind; going downstairs, touching the ancient bricks and listening to the sound of the copper bells on the eaves in the wind, one is overwhelmed by a sense of history.

The former residence of Gao Yue Song worth to visit especially the experiences of watching performance “shadow puppetry “
Gao Family Mansion is a beautifully preserved traditional courtyard house located right in the heart of Xi’an’s Muslim Quarter. Once home to a wealthy merchant family during the Ming and Qing dynasties, it showcases elegant architecture, intricate wood carvings, and period furniture that give a glimpse into old Xi’an life. The highlight is often the shadow puppet performance held in one of the courtyards—an atmospheric way to experience local culture. Although not very large, it’s a quiet escape from the busy food street outside and worth a short visit if you enjoy history, architecture, and traditional arts.
