The lotus flowers were in full bloom; any later would have withered. The Stone Forest is huge. My parents are over 70, so the entrance fee and the sightseeing bus are free. However, the park is so large, and I was worried they might get hungry at noon, so I just visited the Stone Forest and climbed to the pavilion at the top before heading back. As long as they don't have any regrets, that's fine.
Kunming Stone Forest, with its array of bizarre peaks and jagged rocks, resembles a work of nature. A stroll through it offers a breathtaking view, like being transported to a magical wonderland. It's a truly memorable experience, a truly memorable experience.

I have to give it a rock-solid rating. The B&B was surprisingly good. The entire B&B is beautifully decorated, perfectly blending Tibetan wood style with modern comforts, and full of detail. First, the staircase is gentle and spacious, the room layout is well-organized, with underfloor heating, clean and comfortable bedding, a smart toilet, and a disposable toilet seat, disposable disinfectant wipes, a razor, and a face towel. Second, the host family was incredibly welcoming and warm. They even helped us fix our car, eagerly paid for it, and made us butter tea. I'm so grateful for this kind experience during my trip.
We arrived at the scenic spot at 10 am and finished the tour of the east and west areas at around 4 pm. The journey was moderate and we were able to see a variety of rainforest plants. The tour guide was very serious in his explanation and was very enthusiastic in helping us take photos along the way. I learned a lot! It is recommended to bring an umbrella and a water bottle with you, as there will be alternating sunshine and showers at any time (big snails will appear after the rain).

🌈 Xishuangbanna's Manting Imperial Garden is a national 4A-level tourist attraction and the oldest park in the city. Located southeast of Jinghong City, it's said to have been the imperial garden of the Dai King. It's vast and beautiful, and many visitors dress in traditional Chinese costumes to take photos. It houses the Zhou Enlai Memorial Square, where a bronze statue of Premier Zhou wearing Dai attire for the Water Splashing Festival stands. Other Dai architectural features include the Zhangha Pavilion, the City Center Tower, and the Octagonal Corridor Bridge, all perfect for photo opportunities. During the day, there's a Dai King's Procession performance, recreating the grand scene of the Dai King's visit to the garden. Don't miss the interactive elephant show at the innermost Elephant Garden. I saw the one around 2:50 PM, which offered a wealth of information about elephants and allowed me to feed and interact with the elephants. It was a fascinating hour-long experience. Open from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Admission is 40 yuan per person and can be booked online with ID.
Manting Park is one of the most distinctive attractions in Xishuangbanna. As the back garden of the Dai King in the history of Dai culture, it has a strong ethnic character and Dai cultural atmosphere. It is conveniently located in the city. There are performances at different times in the park, which is a unique experience to deeply understand the Dai culture. It is close to the Zongfo Temple. You can visit and learn about the Dai Buddhist culture in a few minutes' walk. While learning about the culture, you can also take photos and check in in the park. There are many distinctive ethnic costumes at the entrance, and you can experience a day as a Dai concubine.

The scenery on the mountain is particularly beautiful, and there are various seasonal flowers. There is an ancient temple on the mountain, and there are kittens, birds, squirrels and other animals everywhere.
Dianchi Lake, the birthplace of the ancient Dian Kingdom, has been a vibrant cultural hub for thousands of years and boasts a rich history. Nestled alongside the Xishan Mountains, Dianchi Lake boasts abundant natural resources and breathtaking scenery. The surrounding Daguan Park (Daguan Tower), Haigeng Park, Xishan Scenic Area (Longmen), and numerous wetland parks offer excellent recreational opportunities. However, the entire Dianchi Lake is surrounded by a circuit, making it difficult to reach the lake's edge for scenic views.

Wild Elephant Valley is a bit far from downtown Xishuangbanna. We drove there, and while the parking lot wasn't very busy, finding a spot wasn't difficult. There's also a shuttle bus from the downtown visitor center, and round-trip tickets are quite affordable. While you can't see wild elephants in the Wild Elephant Valley, there are performances by trained elephants. These elephants have experienced the world and aren't afraid of people. The performances consist of just a few simple moves.
The main attractions in Xishuangbanna are definitely worth visiting, but if you go more than once, it won't be that interesting. Seeing wild elephants is practically impossible, with so many people walking around, the elephants will smell people from a distance and won't come over. But it's nice for city dwellers to take a walk and experience the natural world.

The Dongfengyun Scenic Area is worth visiting. It is very photogenic. You can check in and take photos from time to time. You can also eat and drink coffee in the scenic area. The prices are relatively affordable and not outrageous. Overall, I am satisfied and will recommend it to my friends and family to visit.
Located in Mile City, Honghe Prefecture, Yunnan Province, Dongfengyun Art Town is a unique town built around art and grape culture, integrating natural beauty, and cultural tourism. Known as the "Provence" of central Yunnan, the Dongfengyun scenic area boasts a vast landscape, with the Kaleidoscope Art Museum at its core.

It's a large scenic area. It is recommended to buy a shuttle bus ticket, which can be used multiple times. There are many ethnic architectural landscapes and many free ethnic performances. It is worth seeing.
The project of climbing the knife mountain is really exciting. I even went to verify whether it is a real knife. The other scenery is okay. It is just that the houses of other ethnic groups in Yunnan are built into a park.

Our trip to southern Xinjiang involved long drives, but the main scenery was along the way. A special thank you to our driver, Mr. Luke, for his skillful driving skills, familiarity with the road conditions, and smooth driving. He arrived at the hotel early every day to help with luggage, arrange accommodations, pick up tickets for scenic spots, and take us to enjoy the beautiful scenery and delicious food. He also arranged our hotel stay before leaving at the end of the trip, ensuring a safe and enjoyable trip to southern Xinjiang.
This is a must-see destination for anyone visiting Xibanban. It's conveniently located, reasonably priced, and has comprehensive facilities. The pristine rainforest offers stunning scenery and a wonderful environment. There's also a wide variety of activities, including the Mekong Underwater World and a peacock release show. It's definitely worth a visit.

It is recommended to take a sightseeing bus to the park because it is quite large and walking would be inconvenient. The more beautiful places inside are the Peacock Garden and the Water Splashing Square, where the performances are quite lively.
The hotel facilities are very complete, and the most important thing is that the safety factor is relatively high, which should be the point that everyone cares about most. The facilities are complete, the stay is very comfortable, the room size is just right, and the sound insulation effect is good

Our guide, Mu Layou, was fantastic! He took us on a whirlwind of fun, including eating wild fruits and sour ants. He was incredibly strong, lifting us high and pushing us back down on the swings each time. It was incredibly thrilling. Afterward, he immediately arranged for us to eat. The barbecue, chicken, and fish were all delicious. It was a truly special experience!
Escape the hustle and bustle of the city and discover nature on a hike in the Jinuo Mountain rainforest. The total distance is 5 kilometers, 2 kilometers by land and 3 kilometers by water. Along the way, you'll gain a deeper understanding of the rainforest's flora, fauna, environment, and ways of life. Dressed in a "savage costume," we experienced rainforest river tracing, high-altitude swings, tree abseiling, archery, and a rainforest feast, including sour ants and wild Sanya fruit (Banna's version of mangosteen). For families with young children (under 10 years old), we recommend booking a private tour with an experienced indigenous guide, who can provide one-on-one support for the children. Summary: Recommended family itineraries
