"Jerash" is a building site from the period when ancient Greece and ancient Rome ruled Jordan. It is located on a hillside not far from the city of Amman, Jordan. Standing on the hill of Jerash, you can overlook the city view of Aman. It was built in 300 BC and took nearly 100 years to complete. The stone pillars mixed with Roman and Greek styles are majestic and tall, standing in rows. On each stone pillar, the remains of the colonial period are engraved on it. Seeing the ruins of Jerash will remind you of the once prosperous Old Summer Palace. The difference is that the Old Summer Palace was a man-made disaster, destroyed by war and looting, and Jerash was destroyed by an earthquake. As a historical site, it is worth visiting. There are some interactive projects inside, such as the Roman chariot experience, but unfortunately there is no Chinese tour guide, and the local tour guide's English is not very good, so it is recommended to do homework before going and make up for the historical knowledge. Overall, this trip is still rewarding.
