The best open-air bath, facing the cold snow world outside, in the cold day with the temperature close to -15 degrees Celsius, the sky is the dome, the mountain is the screen, the lake is the painting, and the majestic pines and branches are the embellishment. In the beautiful "bathroom" of nature, we are like those visiting swans, swimming freely, breathing the cool and pure air, feeling the gentle caress of the spring water, immersed in the white and dreamy scenery, and our bodies become transparent and light.
Akan Lake Onsen Street is connected to Akan Lake Onsen. It is a straight street right by the lake. Wooden houses on both sides are lined up with rich colors. The most unique thing is the characteristics of the indigenous Ainu people. There are restaurants and local specialty and handicraft shops one after another. The restaurants serve a lot of barbecue and it is very satisfying. The Ainu wood carvings are very exquisite, both large and small, and the prices are very expensive. You will get aesthetic fatigue after seeing them too much, which means it is over-commercialized.
