After breakfast, we loaded our luggage onto the bus and headed for Plitvice Lakes Park. The name Plitvice Lakes was given by the Chinese. The real name is Plitvice Lakes National Park. Because it is difficult to pronounce, and it is mainly composed of sixteen lakes of different sizes, so we simply call it Plitvice Lakes Park. As the name suggests, it is concise and easy to remember. It is a famous tourist destination in Croatia and a world natural heritage site. The tour guide said that Plitvice Lakes is the Jiuzhaigou of Europe. Both are lakes surrounded by calcified barium, and both have the same gorgeous colors. With this, we basically understand. Of course, this is just a rough metaphor. They still have their own merits, and people also have their own preferences.
The car was driving on the endless green highway. Although it was windy and rainy, everyone was enthusiastic. They enjoyed the natural scenery on both sides through the car window, screamed and took pictures from time to time. The wet road and the green grass, sometimes saw cattle and horses wandering, some in groups of two or three, and some in groups. They passed villages, wooden houses, churches, forests, clouds and hills along the way. Soon the bus stopped at a place similar to a service area. European service areas are generally small, but this service area is relatively large. The tour guide said that the Chinese meal was cancelled and it was here, and everyone was free to help themselves. Fortunately, everyone was prepared. In the morning, they brought spare fruits and eggs from the restaurant. Everyone was friendly and didn&rsquo;t think it was bad. The foreigners in the snack bar were not shy and warmly received. Although you didn&rsquo;t buy their things, they still provided tables and chairs, and gave you hot water. You had a marching meal in this place. There was a big supermarket upstairs. The tour guide bought a pair of cotton velvet pants. We also went up and took a look at the goods in the supermarket. The prices were similar to those in China. Maybe they were Chinese products.
It was afternoon when we arrived at the Plitvice Lakes Scenic Area. There were many tourists from various countries. We stayed on the spot and waited for the local guide to pick us up. The rain was getting heavier and heavier. It was difficult to resist with an umbrella. Fortunately, my teammates gave me a spare raincoat. I bought another one and wrapped it around me to protect myself from the wind and rain under the eaves. The local guide was a Croatian beauty with thick eyebrows and big eyes. Under her leadership, a group of people braved the rain and tread water. First, they passed a gravel road on the hillside, which was bumpy. Fortunately, they wrapped their feet in plastic bags and followed the foreigners to jog all the way. Soon, they stepped into the artificial plank road. The wooden plank road was protected by railings and was close to the mountains and rivers. On both sides were green mountains and ancient trees, strange peaks and rocks, and underfoot were birds flying in the jungle. From time to time, there were mountain springs rushing down from the depths of the distant mountains, forming waterfalls of various shapes.
This is the so-called trip to the Nine Sediments of Europe. In a word, there is nothing but fog and water except for the mountains. The difference from Jiusaigou is that there are no roads or motor vehicles in the scenic area, no hawking or business, no new market towns, and not so many people. It is only a place for viewing the scenery, and the environment is particularly pure.
