Visited during the off-peak season before the Chinese 5/1 holidays so it was fairly empty. In fact, aside from a few scenic spots filled with photographers, the broader park was a bit of a sad ghost town.. perhaps it’s pricey for local standards, but makes for an enjoyable sunset stroll. There is a flagship night show that requires extra tickets/payments, but we only learned about it there.
The entire park is beautifully landscaped, offering stunning views both during the day and at night. Many beautiful women, all wearing stunning makeup, come to take photos, adding to the beauty of the Tang Paradise. Evening performances are available, so be sure to book tickets in advance during peak season. Watching a performance on Chuanshan Mountain is a truly unique experience.

It is definitely worth a visit. All my friends in Henan recommended it to me. It is really great. Every play is very exciting and some are interactive. However, you can't finish it in one day. I recommend a 2-day itinerary.
The moment I entered, I felt the power of "food." Everywhere I entered the theater was a place where films could be produced. This down-to-earth connection with the working people made me feel natural and grounded. The park itself was also very civilized, with civilized slogans everywhere, which was a great feeling. The staff were also wonderful and responsible. It was my first time at a theater performance, and the actors' movements were crisp and clear, with a strong sense of depth in their performance. I was moved to tears, and the price of the ticket felt completely worth it!

I was traveling with my kids, and this wasn't originally on my itinerary. It happened to be a lightly rainy morning, so I ended up walking along the base of the city wall. Upon entering, I thought it was a purely Chinese-style forest of steles. After passing through several exhibition halls, I arrived at the massive North Pavilion. While the ground level looks unremarkable, there are two or three floors below. It's truly magnificent, and I happened to stumble upon the exhibition dedicated to the Six Horses of Zhaoling. It was a worthwhile trip. Also, renting an electronic guide is 30 yuan. A one-hour group of 1-6 people is 100 yuan, and a two-hour group is 200 yuan. If you have the time and the right number of people, I think it's best to hire a qualified guide so you don't miss out on the highlights.
We went to the Forest of Steles early in the morning on August 3rd, thinking that there wouldn't be many people there. It turned out to be the day with the most tourists and the weather was very hot. However, the tour guide, Xiao Huang, was very serious and professional. He talked to us nonstop for more than two hours without even drinking a sip of water. Both adults and children gained a lot!

I absolutely rave about the Xi'an Museum. I couldn't get an appointment with the Shaanxi History Museum, so I had to use the Xi'an Museum as a substitute. The visit was fantastic. The issues of poor layout and crowds, as some reviews have mentioned, were completely absent. The Small Wild Goose Pagoda is absolutely stunning. The Wild Goose Pagoda Morning Bell lives up to its name. The cultural and creative products are super cute. I shopped a lot along the way. Each of the ten collections is truly remarkable. The instructor was very professional. To make up for our regret of not going to the Shaanxi History Museum, he even highlighted several of the museum's artifacts. The Xi'an Museum has the same large gold cake as the Shaanxi History Museum. The cultural and creative gold cake is incredibly realistic. Don't forget to buy one.
Tickets for the Xi'an Museum can also be booked on the mini program. The tour guide's explanation is very clear and detailed, allowing children to learn knowledge beyond books from what they see and hear. It is a very good experience!

Due to a last-minute change in our itinerary, we immediately booked a guided tour at the Henan Museum. The tour was quite good, with some interactive elements and a strong historical narrative, which was accessible to children. Unfortunately, the crowds were so heavy that we lost track of the guide once. The small clear noodle soup we had after leaving the museum was quite good.
I'd long heard of the Henan Museum, and finally had the opportunity to visit. Stepping inside felt like stepping back in time, into the depths of history.
The artifacts here are dazzling, ranging from Jiahu bone flutes from the Neolithic Age, bronzes from the Shang and Zhou dynasties, and porcelains from the Tang and Song dynasties. Each piece tells a story from the past. The Lotus and Crane Square Pot particularly impressed me, depicting a crane spreading its wings as if about to break free and soar to freedom. The cloud-patterned bronze ban, with its exquisite openwork craftsmanship, was truly breathtaking.
After visiting the museum, I was deeply impressed by the profoundness and longevity of Chinese culture, and was deeply impressed by the wisdom and creativity of our ancestors. It was truly an unforgettable cultural journey.
