Mount Lu is so vast! I finally understand the saying, "Because you're in this mountain, you're in it." There are many attractions in Lushan, including the Lushan Waterfall (visit during the rainy season), the Millennium Academy, rafting, and more.
This time, by chance, I climbed halfway up the mountain and had a magnificent view of Lujiang city and the surrounding rivers.
I'll definitely explore more if I have the chance this time.
The scenery at Lushan is beautiful.
My calves are still sore today after taking the train down!!
Luckily I only climbed one side of the stairs; otherwise, I don't know if I'd be able to get up the next day. 😅😅😅

Located at the foot of Mount Lu in Jiangxi Province, Donglin Buddha is the world's tallest gilded bronze statue of Amitabha Buddha (48 meters high, 48 kilograms of gold), with a dazzling golden glow, overlooking all living beings. As the ancestral temple of the Pure Land Sect, its biggest feature is that it completely refuses commercialization and is permanently free of admission. [Cost-effectiveness] Free vegetarian meals, tea and incense are provided, and it is operated entirely by volunteers, with a pure and solemn atmosphere. To reach the top, you need to climb 949 steps. Along the way, you can see the pious scene of believers bowing every three steps. After climbing up, the grandeur of the Buddha statue and the exquisite reliefs of the Buddhist temple are both shocking. This place is not only a holy place of faith, but also a paradise for cleansing the soul.
Before going to Lushan, I first visited Donglin Buddha, which is not far from the south gate of Lushan. It is a very cost-effective scenic spot. Everything is free (if you eat vegetarian food, you need to go to the top platform early to get the coupon). You can also get some small gifts. The volunteers are also polite (the only disappointment is that I want to find a place to store my heavy backpack. I asked at the door and they said there was one inside. I followed the instructions and went in and asked several volunteers. When I got there, they said they couldn’t leave it. I really don’t understand...) The whole scenic area is very clean and tidy. The environment of Tianmu Hot Spring is really great, and the service attitude is very thoughtful. Every time I come here, I feel as comfortable as coming home. I have been there 3 times, and I want to bring my baby to experience it next time. The transportation here is also super convenient, which is great!
The last stop of the four-day Lushan trip was Lushan Tianmu Hot Spring. Because we neglected to pay attention to the business hours, we arrived at the destination at noon, but were told by the lobby that the business hours would not start until 2 pm. The beautiful Xiyan from the guest room department learned that we came from other provinces and changed the departure point of the train from Lushan Station to the relatively far Nanchang West in order to come to Tianmu Hot Spring. For this reason, she even paid a special cost to charter a car to send us to the station. After learning this, the beautiful Xiyan contacted Manager Guo of the Hot Spring Department very enthusiastically. Manager Guo arranged for the handsome supervisor Chen to make an exception to open the hot spring for us when the staff had not yet come to work. It was so touching and warm! We were instantly warm. The hot spring resort has an elegant environment, complete and humanized facilities. You can see the self-service drinking water point after walking a few steps, and it is also very convenient to change bath towels... Thank you Manager Guo, Supervisor Chen and the beautiful Xiyan for your enthusiasm to help us out and bring our Lushan trip to a successful conclusion.
