Xichang Satellite Launch Center is located in Daliangshan Canyon, Fengjiawan, Mianning County, Liangshan Prefecture, Sichuan Province. It was built in 1982. It has launched hundreds of satellites since 1984. It is one of the important national satellite launch bases and is also a famous launch center in the world.
