During holidays, it's a good idea to book a VIP ticket. There's a dedicated VIP channel for ticket checking and entry, which is much faster than the regular channel. They also give you a bottle of water. The seats inside are also very good, right in the middle of the venue.
A must-see show when visiting Wuyi Mountain. The actors, light and shadow, stage, and mountain scenery blend into one. This is my second time watching it, and it's still very impressive. The stage rotates according to the plot. The weather was very good on the day we watched it, and there was no tent, so it might be difficult to watch the show on a rainy day.

I personally think it's much better than the Impression Dahongpao and should be promoted more. It tells the story of Zhu Xi's life. The entire setting and the performances of the entertainers complement each other perfectly. After watching it, I felt uneasy. It's worth checking out, really good!
I booked VIP tickets on Ctrip, which also purchased through a third-party. The Ctrip order stated that only the purchaser's mobile phone number was needed for admission, but that wasn't the case. Regardless of the channel, tickets must be collected on-site for admission! Absolutely! After placing my order on Ctrip, the third-party entered my mobile phone number incorrectly, resulting in me not receiving a text message. Since the Ctrip order stated that admission required a mobile phone number, I didn't notice the error until I arrived at the venue. Fortunately, I arrived early and inquired at the ticket counter. The staff on-site promptly addressed the issue, and the third-party remedy was also quick to issue the tickets, resolving the misunderstanding.
The performance was generally okay, but I personally think it wasn't as good as Zhang Yimou's Impression Dahongpao. The biggest advantage of Moon Reflecting Wuyi is that it's quite comfortable to watch the show indoors on a hot day.
