Lishui Ancient Street is located in Yantou Town, Yongjia County, Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province. It is like a pearl inlaid on the bank of Nanxi River, exuding a unique and charming brilliance.
Its history can be traced back to the Ming Dynasty and was formed in the Qing Dynasty. It is more than 300 meters long. In the old days, more than 90 storefronts were connected by a long corridor. The corridor was built along the water. With the winding water flow, the red lanterns hanging under the eaves and the towering ancient trees complement each other, and the simplicity is full of agility. Walking on the ancient street, the stone slabs polished by time seem to tell stories of the past.
Lishui Ancient Street has a long history. There are many shops inside and outside the ancient street, and a variety of snacks are available. It is one of the check-in spots in the Nanxi River Scenic Area. There were not many tourists in the ancient street in late February, and some shops had not yet opened in the morning.
