The attention to materials and style is really meticulous, and it feels like a lot of thought has been put into the cocktails behind the bar, and the drinks they mix are world-class.
• Kale: Very kale-flavored, well extracted, with a slightly caramelized feel.
• Cigarette: A herbal cocktail as smooth as red wine, with a slightly sour aftertaste and a very layered taste.
• San You: Luzhou-flavored liquor plus apple soda, with a super rich aroma—the strongest liquor-based cocktail I’ve ever had.
• Irish: Made with real coffee, served warm and fresh, and beautifully presented, it’s a classic that you can’t go wrong with.
• This week’s special: Shimmy, Korean hot sauce, Korean chili powder, agave and carrots, all with distinct flavors that work well together.
• Laurel: The floral and sake notes are present, but overall it’s a little too umami for me.
