Phnom Penh Night Market is located by the Tonle Sap River, between Road 102 and Road 106. It is an open-air night market, rebuilt from a street garden. Only had the chance to stay for an hour, wish I had the chance to stay longer. $10 dollar entrance with an audio guide$5 without If you dont have a guide with you, audio is highly recommended. Definitely worth it and made me understand the history easier. I entered the museum not knowing a lot of information about the incident. But I left with a lot of knowledge.

The S21 Prison Museum is located in the south of Phnom Penh. It was originally a high school. During the reign of Pol Pot, the Khmer Rouge, it was used as a concentration camp for prisoners. More than 17,000 intellectuals, civilians, women and children were imprisoned here. Countless people were tortured to death every day. Until the Hengshanlin regime entered Phnom Penh in 1979, there were only 14 bodies and 7 survivors left in this concentration camp. The torture instruments and introductions exhibited in the museum are horrifying. In the short 3 years and 8 months of the Khmer Rouge’s rule, Cambodia’s population dropped by one-third, which is unprecedented in history.
