#Eat a seafood feast
The previous article introduced the quiet and cozy JW Marriott Mai Khao Beach in Phuket and the Marriott Beach Club. Today, I recommend a restaurant that you must try: Ginja Taste, a high-end Thai restaurant where you can enjoy the beautiful sunset of the Andaman Sea!
Ginja Taste Ginja Taste
Beach: Mai Khao Beach Mai Khao Beach
Location: JW Marriott Phuket Resort & Spa JW Marriott Phuket Resort & Spa (Government Health Certification)
Time: 18:00--23:00 (remember to make a reservation in advance)
The restaurant is located inside the JW Marriott Hotel, on the left side of the entire resort, close to the sea, with a first-line sea view, divided into indoor seats and outdoor seats, and the terrace seat can enjoy the beautiful sunset of the Andaman Sea.
The restaurant is a very quaint Thai-style building. You can walk in from the beach, or from Apartment Suite 34, which is right next to the restaurant. After passing through the Thai-style spire lobby, you can enter the restaurant. The lime walls and wooden tables and chairs inside the restaurant give people a sense of collision between modernity and tradition.
The restaurant serves authentic Thai cuisine, and seafood and curry are the signature dishes here.
We booked a seat in advance and set a time of 7:30, because there was a super cool torch show on the beach at 7 o'clock; after watching the show, we came to eat Thai food. After taking a seat, we will first have a JW special welcome drink, lemon juice, soda water, and a purple drink with butterfly pea flowers, which is very refreshing. Next, we will start with a traditional Thai feast.
Snacks: satay skewers, spring rolls, fish cakes;
Salads: Phuket specialty duck salad, pomelo shrimp salad, green papaya salad;
Main dishes: curry beef, stir-fried tiger prawns, stir-fried crispy pork belly with water spinach;
Staple dishes: butterfly pea rice, Thai fragrant rice
Desserts: 2 special coconut desserts, coconut ice cream
It was really satisfying, and the restaurant service was great. I want to watch the beautiful sunset over the Andaman Sea and enjoy authentic Thai food if I have the chance!
