A great spot to take in the full panoramic view of Qingdao, especially the city’s iconic landmarks. With just one ticket and no time limit, you can relax at the coffee stand, browse for your favorite souvenirs, or explore the informational displays along the walls. While there aren’t many activities, spending 1–2 hours here is more than enough to enjoy the experience.
It was a really cool experience. The art gallery was closed the day we went, but it wasn't a big deal. I'd highly recommend going at night however, as the day time views were somewhat obscured by smog.

Qingdao Haier InterContinental Hotel is a five-star hotel built to support the water sports competitions of the 2008 Olympic Games. It was extremely luxurious at the time and was known as a "six-star hotel". Although it is a little older now, it is still vigorous and elegant under the standardized management of the InterContinental Group.
First of all, the geographical location is very advantageous. Outside the large glass windows of the room is the famous Olympic Sailing Base, and the lighthouse of the Lover's Dam and the red iconic sculpture of the May Fourth Square are only a few minutes away. No hotel in Qingdao can be better than this location.
The breakfast is also very rich, with Qingdao prawns and Qingdao-style sweet foam here, and the Western pastries are also very well made.
The private room on the second floor is spacious and comfortable, with thoughtful service and fresh dishes. It is very face-saving to entertain guests and friends.
