We booked the 2.5 hour clansman & castle freedom cruise. This tour departed from Clansman Harbour to cruise across the dark waters of Loch Ness and 1 hour exploration of the Urquhart Castle ruins site. Great adventure! 👍🏻
A ruin but ful of magic! Worth visiting. There is also a small cinema which shows a 10 minute video about the history..

The castle has a charming view. It costs 3.5B to cross the bridge and 11B to enter the gate. It is cost-effective. It is the same as Edinburgh, but it is much smaller. The view is great, especially the reflection of the castle in the lake.
Standing quietly by the water, silently walking through the long river of history. The castle looks very old and ancient. As a building from the cold weapon era, it meets all the necessary hardware facilities of that time.

I traveled to the Scottish Highlands for the first time in early January. I saw that the souvenirs from the same tour had the appearance of this cow, so I searched where I could see the real thing! This highland cow is really cute The long hair covers both eyes, Taiwanese also call it "Jay Cow" 😂😂
The Scottish Highlands is the name of the mountains to the west and north of the Scottish Highland Boundary Fault. The Scottish Highlands are sparsely populated and have many mountains, including Ben Nevis, the highest peak in the UK. Although it belongs to the densely populated island of Great Britain, the population density here is even less than that of Sweden, Norway and other places. When traveling to the UK, this stop is in the Scottish Highlands, and the place to go is Loch Ness, which is a very famous attraction. There are cruise ships that can take you around the lake and listen to the explanation about the lake monster.

Nice cruise trip. The water is black and there is a canal. Many souvenirs shops with cute Nessies.
The famous Loch Ness Monster is said to have appeared here. Those who are lucky enough to take a photo of the monster can earn 20,000 pounds. Apart from that, this looks like a quiet and peaceful town. There are tourists in groups of three or four. Boats are neatly moored. There are little rabbits everywhere. They point to the west mountain at sunset. Fort Augustus is lit with street lights in the evening. Take a walk here and your heart will be as peaceful as the surface of Loch Ness.

When the train was about to reach the Glenfinnan Viaduct, everyone on the train started to move. We opened the small windows on the train as wide as possible and pressed the shutter like crazy. It turned out that everyone was doing the same thing.
Glenfinnan Viaduct, a must-see when you drive to the Highlands. We followed the navigation, but when we arrived, we found that there was no empty parking spot! We were so anxious that we finally found an open space in the woods and parked. It was so beautiful.

Standing on the edge of a cliff that plunges straight into the seabed like a knife, the early winter climate makes everything in the distance a little foggy. Unlike the clear sky with white clouds floating in the sky, it looks like it is covered with a veil.
A very famous attraction on Skye Island, a cliff on the seashore, named Skirt Cliff because the rock looks like a Scottish skirt. One of the waterfalls with a huge drop is very spectacular.

located isle of skye , Scotland old man of storr rock formation is sure interesting the surrounding and the hike itself is super interesting too. we climb 2.5 hour forth and back in the morning before the crowd start to flow in . definitely do it again if we have the chance
We rode the bus for a long time, and then the tour guide suddenly called us to get off the bus: "Look! That's Old Man Peak in front of us." I looked carefully for a long time, but it was foggy and misty in the early winter, so I couldn't see it clearly, and I couldn't imagine that it was an old man's face.

Loch Ness by Jacobite Loch Ness cruise is the biggest highlight of this trip to the UK, it's very fun! Loch Ness scenery is particularly beautiful, the cruise feels romantic and comfortable, the boat is very new, it's worth it!
When you arrive at Loch Ness, you must take a boat trip. We booked a boat from a local company, which has multiple boarding and disembarking points. So in order to avoid walking back to the road, we chose to go down to the castle. The weather was good on the lake, and it was very pleasant to look at the lake view and the mountains on both sides. Of course, the lake monster cannot be found. The BBC organized people and spent two or three years blocking both ends, but they still couldn't find it. The facilities on the boat are quite complete, and there is Costa coffee.
