The planetarium is truly beautiful and worth a visit. I feel it's best suited for those who enjoy astronomy and have some basic knowledge, especially students in grades 5 or 6 and above. A guided tour is necessary; otherwise, it's a wasted visit.
Get off at Dishui Lake subway station, either Exit 3 or 4 is fine. Some online reviews suggested taking a taxi, but it's not necessary (though you might need one during the hot summer months). Just follow your phone's navigation; the distance to the traffic lights is short, it's really close. Especially in November, on a sunny day, walking with your child to enjoy the scenery and soak up the sun is so pleasant, it only takes a few minutes. Pass by Dishui Lake Square, McDonald's, Dishui Lake Back Street, and Sponge Park, and it's just a short walk away. We booked entry for 1 PM, but since it was our first time, we didn't book movie tickets. We'll probably come back again.
