Maolanggou National Forest Park in Jiayin County, Yichun City is located at the northern foot of Lesser Khingan Mountains, facing Heilongjiang River to the east. Its jurisdiction belongs to Xiangyang Township, Jiayin County, Yichun City, Heilongjiang Province, 76 kilometers away from the county seat. Maolanggou is a geological and geomorphological complex represented by the Indosinian granite tectonic peak forest landform, Quaternary periglacial landform, and neotectonic collapse landform. It is the only granite canyon geological relic with the most complete types, the most typical development, and the richest shapes found in Lesser Khingan Mountains. It is also a typical representative of the Indosinian granite formation tectonic canyon geological relics. The Indosinian tectonic movement 250 million years ago formed a huge granite base in this area that was once covered by seawater. It was uplifted to the surface in the Jurassic period. After the mountain tectonic movement, granite faults continued to develop, rock layers collapsed, and a tectonic destruction zone was formed. After hundreds of millions of years of wind and rain baptism, weathering and erosion by nature, the valleys have been cut deeper and deeper, forming the current valley landforms.
