Hallgrímskirkja Cathedral in Iceland is a very monumental church. From the outside, it looks very simple and elegant. According to the locals, this church was built for about half a century.
Hallgrímskirkja, located in the center of Reykjavik, is the largest church in Iceland and the sixth tallest building in Iceland with a height of 74.5 meters. The church is named after the famous Icelandic priest and poet Hallgrímur Pétursson. Designed by architect Guðjón Samúelsson in 1937, overall construction work began in 1945 and ended in 1986. As the most important landmark in the city, its prominent towers can be seen from any corner of the city. You can reach the observation deck at the top through the elevator inside the church, where you can enjoy the beautiful view of the entire Reykjavik mountains. There is also a huge pipe organ inside the church, which is 15 meters high and weighs 25 tons. In the square in front of the church stands a statue of explorer Leif Eriksson. It was a gift to Iceland from the United States in order to commemorate the 1000th anniversary of the founding of the Icelandic Parliament in 1930.

ICELAND Going to Iceland is like going to the moon Blue Ice Cave Guide 1️⃣2️⃣4️⃣3️⃣5️⃣ 1️⃣You must drive when you come to Iceland, because each natural landscape is not too close, and it takes 1.5 hours to 2 hours to drive. We have always stayed at the Blue Lagoon. This should be the most unlike hotel on earth. It is very beautiful and shocking. 2️⃣Just drive along Highway 1 from the hotel. The scenery along the way is beautiful and you can take pictures at will. After 5 hours, you will arrive at the Glacier Lagoon parking lot.️ 3️⃣Across the Glacier Lagoon is the Diamond Beach. You can go to the Diamond Beach first and then come back to see the Glacier Lagoon. If you have an appointment in advance, you can gather at the parking lot and wait to go to the Blue Ice Cave. If there is no ticket point on site, you can also buy it on site, but it is best to make an appointment in advance at night. I made an appointment on Ctrip. 4️⃣Because of the special landforms, the driver will drive a professional inflatable monster truck to pick you up and enter the Blue Ice Cave. It takes about 40 minutes. You can only drive as far as the closest distance to the glacier, get off the car, put on the equipment and walk forward. 5️⃣ Hiking equipment is usually available in the driver's car for free rental. After about a 20-minute walk, you can see the world's most beautiful Vatnajökull glacier with a history of 800-1000 years and the mysterious blue ice cave wonders. You will definitely scream and you must experience this moment. This is the filming location of Interstellar. ⚠️ (In fact, if you don't stay at the Blue Lagoon Hotel, it only takes about 1-2 hours to drive in Vik Town or choose Foss Hotel near the glacial lake. But the Blue Lagoon Hotel is really not worth leaving)
If you can't reach the moon, come to Iceland. If you can't fly into space, come to Iceland. Let's go to the end of the world, walk into the blue ice cave, and see the crystal palace. It's bright and beautiful. I think this is why Iceland is the most alien-like place!

Perlan is a beautiful musuem, perfect for a leisure day in Reykjavik. If you only visit one attraction in reykjavik, it has to be perlan. (you can skip aurora reykjavik and lava show) We took the bus 18 to ‘perlan’ bus stop where we walked through a little garden. there was a lot of people on a rainy tuesday afternoon. we easily spent about 3 hours there: watch shows about volcano and aurora, enter ice cave & learn about iceland’s geology. Apparently the restaurant rotates around in the dome, but we didn’t have time to try.
I don’t know why, but this city is full of Chinese, and only Chinese. I met all kinds of Chinese on the road, from China, the United States, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Europe, and Australia. Yes, the sky in Iceland is really beautiful. After all, the sunshine lasts for 4 hours, so you can watch the sunrise and sunset at the same time.

"Glacier Lake" The lake is connected to the glacier, and the flow speed and flow are very large. Connecting the shore of the lake is the famous "Diamond Beach" Ice fragments will fall from the glacier, and then be washed ashore by wolves. The fragments of ice washed up on the beach will sparkle when viewed from a distance, just like diamonds sprinkled on the earth, which is a well-deserved reputation. For "Diamond Beach". But because it was spring, (it was too warm😅), there was no diamond ice on the beach as mentioned in the travel book.
This is the most worthwhile place to visit in Iceland. The scenery is so beautiful. The ice here is in motion and different every day. If you are lucky, you can see very spectacular giant ice. It would be better to take a boat into the lake, but there are certain risks.

This is one of the most famous black sand beaches in Iceland. It is very unique. The black sand is covered with sparkling ice cubes, shining like diamonds, and the scenery is different every day.
Want a big diamond? 📍Location: Iceland Diamond Beach is right next to the Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon, a 10-minute walk away. 🎫Tickets: 🆓Free, open-air beach is open to all 🌄Best time to visit: at sunset, with sunset glow. 📸How to play: Roll up your sleeves and take photos. Why are you here if you don’t take photos? ! 📝Travel tips 🔺Diamond Beach is actually a black sand beach plus glacier fragments washed ashore. Due to different angles, the ice refracts light differently. The color of the ice is transparent light blue, and it sparkles under the sunlight. Although I prefer to use a back camera, you can still perform well with an ultra-wide-angle phone. 🔺Diamond Beach is actually better for taking pictures of the scenery, and the combination of people and scenery is suitable for taking group portraits. It is more difficult to pose for a single person, so it is recommended to use silhouettes or close-ups.

Tonin Lake is an important attraction in Iceland's capital worth visiting. The lake is close to the city hall. You can visit the city hall by the way. There are many colorful small houses by the lake. There are swans, lake ducks, and birds in the lake, which attracts the love of many tourists, especially children. You can interact with the seabirds here to play, feed, have fun, there are chic European-style buildings with spires and chic bridges by the lake, and a different interesting statue stands here, his upper body is a huge square shaped stone, The lower half is a man carrying a briefcase, which can be interpreted as a modern urban office worker working hard for life and busy... It is great to stroll around the lake and watch the vast lake scenery with a cool breeze!
Although the pot of Iceland's Tonin Tiger is not the largest lake in the local area, he is a very famous lake and a lake that locals love to go to. Because of his geographical location, it is more forbidden from the city. So it's especially convenient for people to come here

The Northern Lights Center in Reykjavik, Iceland. According to the locals, this place is an aurora viewing center established by four young people. The most important thing to do when going to Iceland is to chase the aurora. This place is in a great location to watch the laser-shaped aurora.
The most exciting things to do in Iceland are the glaciers and the aurora borealis. The aurora borealis is very luck-dependent. We were very lucky to see the aurora borealis. It is said that making a wish to the aurora borealis is easier and more economical. You can try it too.

Trip.com Travel online tickets can be checked on the spot, which is very convenient. Scan the code and choose the voice to listen to the explanation. There is WiFi, flowing! If there is enough time, it is recommended to go slowly, there is a simmer on the first floor. Coffee is very fragrant.
To a place or a country trip, the first to visit should be his museum, it is understood that his local past and present life will be more in-depth play, this place's museum covers an area of particularly large, if the complete tour will take a whole day.

Iceland's Sun Voyager is a very famous building in Iceland. It may seem abstract to you, so please make a plan when you go there, or ask the locals. The history of the National People's Congress is quite interesting, and it is also a square that the locals love very much.
This is a sculpture on the waterfront of Reykjavik, the capital of Iceland. It is said to represent a pirate ship and commemorate the pioneering spirit of Iceland's ancestors. The design of the ship sculpture is indeed unique and abstract, but it is not difficult to understand.

The Harpa Concert Hall is located in the center of Reykjavik, Iceland's capital. The glass building is not very conspicuous from the outside, but it is very distinctive from the inside, with elegant lines and abstractions.
Iceland's Harpa Concert Hall looks very stylish, especially at night when all the lights come together, making it look so grand. This concert hall covers a large area and can be said to be the entertainment and life center of the local people.
