This is my second time in Yuntaishan. Hongshi Gorge is truly beautiful. The unique natural topography makes Yuntaishan such a beautiful attraction. Being there, you can feel the gifts of nature. The air is fresh and the scenery is beautiful. It really makes you linger. I came once in January and this time I brought my mother and husband back. The experience was particularly good. The picture shows the comparison between summer and winter.
It's not bad, but some attractions don't look very outstanding, and some landscapes lack characteristics, but for exercise, it is still suitable for ordinary people with average physical strength.

I travel all year round and never review hotels. Firstly, I don't have the time, and secondly, a day out is exhausting, so I don't have the time. But this hotel, I had to review before turning in tonight to share my experience of our two-day stay.
First, let me talk about the service. It was absolutely excellent. The hostess was very welcoming and checked us in quickly. Then, when we headed to Baoquan, she thoughtfully reminded us to use parking lots P1 and P2, which were close to the entrance. We found this to be true upon arrival. Parking lot P3 requires climbing stairs and a bit of a walk, which was a real convenience. We came back tired and hungry from a day out, so we went to a nearby restaurant. We had a lot of leftovers to take home, and the hotel even put them in the refrigerator and heated up our food the next day. It was truly thoughtful service. They even proactively reminded us, "You've worked up a sweat all day, and we have a laundry room on the fifth floor with all the necessary detergent and everything. You can go wash your clothes there!" They were dry the next day, which was a real plus. Another touching experience: My backpack strap broke, and I asked if the hotel had needles and thread. The hostess, upon seeing none, actually rode her electric scooter home to get some. She even matched the color of thread to my backpack—really thoughtful!
Hotel Environment: Clean and tidy. The pictures were taken before my stay, so I won't go into detail.
Surroundings: Very close to Baoquan, a six or seven-minute drive to the parking lot. There are also many restaurants nearby, offering everything from stir-fries to barbecues. It was a truly enjoyable trip.
It's a good place to take children to play in the water. There are too many people on Saturdays and Sundays. After placing an order and buying tickets, scan the code to queue up at the shuttle bus waiting area. I have to say that the driving skills of the master are very good. The water is not deep and suitable for children to play. It is recommended to bring a few more sets of clothes.

It is not recommended to climb Laojun Mountain at night, but if you really want to see the sunrise, you can give it a try, but you must prepare clothes, because when you climb to Zhongtianmen, you will feel very cold, but when you reach the top of the mountain, it is really invincible, very beautiful, and very photogenic. I am a college entrance examination candidate and did not spend money. Normally, the ticket is 50 yuan for a student and 100 yuan for an adult.
Overall, it was okay. It wasn't as good as I'd expected. First, the scenic area is far from the city center, taking about two hours by car. Our chartered car departed from the city at 8:00 AM and arrived at the scenic area at 10:40 AM. Secondly, the line for the first-level cable car lasted an hour, and the walk from Zhongtianmen to the Ten-Li Painting Screen took almost two hours. The crowds were so high, and the road was so narrow that it was difficult to walk quickly. I recommend avoiding this trip during holidays (summer vacation, weekends, or holidays). If you're not looking for the Ten-Li Painting Screen, you can take the second-level cable car directly to the summit. Finally, the temperature at the summit was low, so I recommend bringing a jacket. Food is sold at the summit, so you don't need to bring too much. We returned around 6:00 PM, taking the second-level cable car to the first-level cable car. The descent was quick, taking about half an hour. Overall, the hiking experience was average.

If you haven't been to the canyon, it's definitely worth a visit. However, having been to the Nanshiyang Grand Canyon and seen better ones, this one was just average. The excessive artificial decorations made it seem counterproductive. It can be slippery on rainy days, so be careful. We recommend taking the shuttle bus and boat up the mountain and walking down.
It's quite cool, but the tickets booked on Ctrip can only be used 2 hours after arriving at the scenic spot. It's obvious that they don't want you to buy them on Ctrip. The scenic area battery car plus boat ride plus waterfall slide cost 130, Ctrip cost 120, the scenic area ticket cost 80, and Ctrip cost 72 one day in advance, so it's better to buy them on Ctrip in advance.
