The Five-Colored Pool truly lives up to its reputation, a breathtaking sight that made the trip worthwhile. Huanglong Scenic Area differs from Jiuzhaigou in that the water's bottom is lighter in color, and the yellow is a different shade from Jiuzhaigou's. The entire elevation is between 3,300 and 3,600 meters. The first half of the hike isn't particularly scenic; the scenery is all on the way down after seeing the Five-Colored Pool. It's important to manage your time and energy wisely.

The entrance fee is 80 yuan. Within the park, you'll need to take a bus to the sightseeing bus. The first trip goes to Danding Lansheng and then back. The second trip goes to Silk Road Xiaguang (note: Silk Road Xiaguang allows you to walk to Silk Road Eagle, not necessarily the zipline). Then, you can continue to Jiuse Danqing and Shayun Camel Bell. The route from Shayun Camel Bell to Danding Lansheng is reported to be 3.5 kilometers per hour. I only walked 1 kilometer in half an hour because I was in a hurry and then turned back. There's also a bus back to the city at 2:00 PM, which stops at Customs Metro Station and costs 12 yuan.
The Ink and Wash Danxia was one of the surprises of this self-driving tour from Lanzhou to Dunhuang. Because I didn't want to join the crowds at Zhangye's Colorful Danxia, and also wanted to save time for the Pingshan Lake Grand Canyon in Zhangye, I chose to go to the Ink and Wash Danxia. The scenic area is well designed, the route is clear, and the scenery is really beautiful; the layers of minerals of different colors are indeed more layered and diverse than the beauty of a simple Danxia landform.

Located in Yiwa Town, Diebu County, Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu Province, Zhagana, meaning "stone box" in Tibetan, is a "stone city" built of natural rock faces. It boasts breathtaking peaks, canyons, and forests, with over ten peaks exceeding 4,000 meters. It also boasts cultural attractions such as Tibetan villages and Lhasang Monastery. A must-stop on the Tang-Tibet Ancient Road, it was selected as one of the "World's Best Tourist Villages" in 2023.
The scenery was okay, but not amazing. It was probably because the publicity was too good, which raised everyone's expectations too high. However, the attitude of the B&Bs, restaurants and other service staff in the scenic area was very good.

It's worth a visit. The monkey road is indeed a good place. For me, it's nothing, but it's a wish. Some people can't stand it and call for help. The overall environment is very good, a natural oxygen bar
I have been there twice. I didn't go to the Monkey Judo for various reasons the first two times. I plan to go there again when I have time. I really felt the wisdom and difficulty of the ancients. After so many years of development, many places have taken shape, so when I see those thrilling places, it is even more difficult to imagine how they did it.

I was given three tickets and was assigned a seat in the middle of the first row. I was stunned. I got the front row experience. The Wenchuan event was particularly shocking. I was moved to tears. I still recommend it to Jiuzhaigou. There are other activities inside. You can check it out.
I took my mother to see it, and she was shocked, moved, and surprised. Moreover, this scenic spot is not only a big show, but also has many small-scale activities and shopping spots, which is very suitable for visiting.

After a decade, returning to the Gansu Provincial Museum's exhibition halls, the familiar weight of history was tinged with a refreshing surprise. The excitement of reunion intensified as I witnessed the transformation of the exhibition layout and exhibits. The Gansu Provincial Museum's exhibition layout is most clearly "scientific," far more than a simple display of artifacts. Focusing on "Yellow River Culture," it weaves together prehistoric civilization, Silk Road trade, and the intermingling of multiple ethnic groups into a clear thread. From the juxtaposition of painted pottery and agricultural tools from the Dadiwan site, you can directly witness the transition from slash-and-burn agriculture to pottery cooking. In the Silk Road exhibition hall, Hu merchant figurines unearthed from the Hexi Corridor, Persian silver coins, and Central Plains silk are brought together in a single narrative space, instantly capturing the vibrant commercial scene of "camel bells ringing across Europe and Asia." Even more thoughtfully, each exhibition area is accompanied by lightweight text explanations and multimedia videos, avoiding academic obscurity while also preventing history from being reduced to "picture-based object identification." Even children can follow the clues and understand the stories behind the artifacts. If the exhibition layout is the "skeleton," the exhibits are the living, breathing "flesh and blood" of Gansu's museum. Its richness lies in its collection of unique national treasures. Besides the well-known "Horse Stepping on Flying Swallow" (a bronze galloping horse), there's also China's largest "Bronze Chariot and Horse Guard of Honor," featuring 38 bronze horses, one axe cart, and four chariots neatly arranged, as if ready to carry Han Dynasty soldiers on the Silk Road. The "Human Face and Newt Painted Pottery Vase" from the Yangshao culture, with its eerie yet vibrant human face and newt motifs, is a rare relic of the spiritual world of prehistoric ancestors. Furthermore, manuscripts and Tangut Buddhist scriptures unearthed from the Dunhuang Caves quietly speak of Gansu's unique status as a treasure trove of literature. These exhibits are more than just artifacts; they are a condensed, tangible, and comprehensive history of Gansu. Compared to many museums, Gansu's uniqueness lies in its irreplaceable "regional DNA." Rather than pursuing comprehensiveness, the museum culminates in the quintessential characteristics of the "Upper Yellow River Civilization" and the "Golden Section of the Silk Road." While other museums may exhibit painted pottery, few offer the complete sequence of painted pottery from the Dadiwan, Majiayao, and Qijia cultures, allowing you to clearly see how painted pottery evolved from simplicity to sophistication. While other museums can tell the story of the Silk Road, the museum's exhibits primarily draw from local sites. From the bronze galloping horse from the Leitai Han Tomb to the statues from Bingling Temple, each piece exudes the essence of Gansu's soil, creating a sense of distance. Even more remarkable is its lack of deliberate attempts to create a sense of distance. For example, the "Bronze Galloping Horse" exhibit features multi-angle viewing platforms, allowing you to clearly see the exquisite balance of the horse's feet on the flying swallow. These details, which make national treasures approachable, are precisely what makes the museum so captivating. Ten years later, the Gansu Provincial Museum has not been confined to the "memories of the old museum," but has brought history to life with more scientific exhibition arrangements, more vibrant exhibits, and a more unique regional expression. Revisiting this place is not only a reunion with the past, but also a dialogue with a Gansu that is both "familiar and fresh," spanning millennia.
It's worth a visit, but it was so crowded I couldn't even see the bronze galloping horse. It was packed inside and outside. It's best not to go during the summer. 😂 Also, there's a shop near the entrance with Green Code and his friends, which is quite interesting and a great place to take photos. The scenic spot is nice, the parking lot is large, it was drizzling on the day I went there, and the clouds and mist were very beautiful... You don't need to climb high, but there are quite a few steps inside... In my opinion, it is not a painless climb, but it is still worth it
You can purchase entrance and cable car tickets in advance on Ctrip. Take the Sky Ropeway directly to the Cloud Ladder, then take the Cloud Ladder to Longtou Mountain Square, where you can begin your plank path hike. Today, despite arriving at noon, the fog was still thick, completely obscuring the sea of clouds. Just a vast expanse, yet still filled with mystery. The low visibility has its advantages: even the most treacherous plank paths are less intimidating. The first half of the path is mostly downhill and flat, while the second half is more uphill, making it a bit tiring. Along the way, you'll see a variety of trees and wildflowers, making it a true botanical exploration. If you have more time, you can stay at Longtou Mountain, where accommodation and dining are provided. The entire journey takes three hours, followed by a descent.

It's a good, spacious scenic area. The upward elevator is good, but unfortunately there is no downward elevator. It is not convenient enough for people with mobility problems. The toilets in the scenic area need to be improved.
The First Bend of the Yellow River marks the beginning of the 99 bends of the Yellow River. Originating in the Bayankala Mountains, the Yellow River merges with the Baihe River here, forming a series of large "S" shapes. From the observation deck, you can enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view of the Nine Bends of the Yellow River. The winding river twists and turns across the vast grasslands, like a flowing ribbon wrapped around the earth. The contrast with the grassland, blue sky, and white clouds creates a majestic yet gentle scene. Evening is the most beautiful time, when the setting sun paints the river golden, the shimmering waters truly embody the artistic conception of "the setting sun on the long river."

[A bowl of vegetarian noodles reveals the true essence of the dish: a Zen-inspired experience near Famen Temple] Coming across Qingxin Noodle House after visiting Famen Temple was truly fate! The seemingly simple vegetarian noodles are truly astonishing—the broth, brewed with mushrooms and mountain spring water, is crystal clear yet overflowing with freshness and fragrance, leaving you feeling completely refreshed. The hand-rolled noodles are chewy and firm, complemented by the sweet, tender, and refreshing seasonal vegetables. The most remarkable thing is the Zen atmosphere: wooden tables and chairs, wind chimes on the eaves, and the faint sound of chanting in the distance, which calms the mind while eating. The proprietress is friendly and down-to-earth, and will even offer free refills if you're short on noodles. For only 30 yuan per person, enjoying such thoughtful vegetarian noodles right next to this sacred site is a truly incredible value! I highly recommend experiencing this tranquil atmosphere after visiting Famen Temple.
I really like the underground palace and the museum. I like reading history books. Secret color porcelain, pomegranate skirt, and Tang Xizong's little brother were all embodied in this trip. Good place, worth visiting
