My friends came from other places, and I wanted to take them to try more traditional Wuxi dishes, so I chose Sanfengqiao.
Actually, I haven't eaten here for a long time, and I'm not familiar with the menu. I ordered spare ribs, Liangxi crispy eel, fried eel paste, whitebait soup, four-happiness gluten, crab roe tofu, xiaolongbao, and three-white wontons. Although several dishes were ordered in small portions, the portions were quite sufficient, and four people couldn't finish these dishes.
Among these dishes, I am most satisfied with spare ribs, whitebait soup and crab roe tofu. The spare ribs are soft and not mushy, and the taste is not too sweet, just right. The whitebait soup looks simple, but it is served with shredded chicken. The ingredients of crab roe tofu are clear, and the taste is just right.
It is still a Wuxi restaurant worth visiting, with a traditional taste.
