The Longji Rice Terraces are beautiful, and the villages offer a wide range of accommodation and dining options, though prices are incredibly high, with a cup of coffee costing between 25 and 35 yuan. The mountain roads leading to the various viewing platforms are quite demanding, and the parking lot is a bit messy, expensive, and the service is mediocre, costing just over 40 yuan a day.
The 80-yuan ticket offers unlimited access to the core terraced fields, including Jinkeng and Ping'an, and is valid for three days. Students and seniors receive discounts, and online ticket purchases allow entry by scanning a QR code. However, be aware of secondary purchases within the scenic area, such as cable cars and sightseeing buses.

We drove there, and although the road was long and winding, the terraced fields were worth the journey. Unfortunately, the next morning was cloudy, so we didn't see the terraced fields in the morning light.
The scenery is stunning, and one ticket covers several terraced fields. The sightseeing bus is unlimited and stops whenever you wave. The staff are very friendly. Aside from the local villagers' restaurants and guesthouses, all other businesses appear to be owned by the scenic area. The service is excellent, and the area isn't overly commercialized. It's also relatively quiet, making it a very comfortable experience. The only downside is that some teenagers are racing motorcycles in the area at night, which is noisy and unsafe.

It's just so-so~~ Compared to the price, it's just so-so, with average cost-effectiveness~~~ There are many still life exhibits inside, and each person has a headset to listen to the explanation. If the children are more interested in history and culture, it's ok to walk for 2 hours, but I don't recommend eating osmanthus ice cream, it's too sweet, with a strong flavor of essence.

1. "Osmanthus Commune" is a new factory-run scenic spot with osmanthus as the theme. It presents the nature, humanities, applications and commodities of Guilin osmanthus in a comprehensive and detailed manner. The indoor audio-visual and scenery visual effects are shocking.

2. The scenic spot has free guided tours, mainly indoors. We decided to visit Chongzuo and Nanning before National Day. Because several of the attractions are quite far from each other, we opted for a group tour through Ctrip. The itinerary was moderately strenuous, making it suitable for elderly travelers.
Detian Waterfall was beautiful, but the scenery at Tongling Grand Canyon and Equan Spring was slightly affected by the typhoon. We didn't visit Dongna Island Bay.
I want to especially commend our tour guide, Brother Bing, for his thoughtfulness, thoroughness, and cleanliness. Every time we left, he would turn on the air conditioning and meet us at the exit early. We had plenty of free time and even enjoyed local delicacies. Throughout the trip, we felt he was always thinking about the customer. He made the trip so much better, and we were so happy!
The scenic area is large and the scenery is pleasant, but for tourists from other places who are visiting for the first time, the sightseeing bus is not very convenient. There are clearly marked parking places but you have to keep waving at them.

When we arrived at Longji Terraces, the sun was shining. Standing at the foot of the mountain, looking up, the terraces are stacked layer by layer, like waves of the earth, extending from the foot of the mountain to the top of the mountain, which is magnificent. This Guilin landmark is perfect for photo opportunities. Feel free to take your own photos. If you require paid photography within the scenic area, be sure to inquire in advance about the price and whether the original digital film is included. Also, inquire about the fees for bamboo rafts, cormorants, and clothing. There are also bamboo raft cruises, but the experience is average. If you're planning to go on the Yulong River raft, you can skip this option entirely.
When I went to Guilin, I did some research and found that the attractions in the city are relatively concentrated, so I booked a hotel near Vientiane City. It's quite close to the Elephant Trunk Hill scenic area, where you can visit Elephant Trunk Hill, the Sun and Moon Pagodas, East and West Alleys, Jingjiang Palace, and more. Elephant Trunk Hill Park is free, but reservations are required. Since it was summer vacation, there were a lot of people, but I was still pleasantly surprised to see the Elephant Trunk Hill I'd seen in textbooks. It felt like I was there. You can hire a photographer to take photos with you; the price is quite reasonable at 30 yuan. Of course, a photo opportunity is a must when visiting Guilin.
