🌊Rafting Experience:
I chose the popular route from Jinlong Bridge to Jiuxian County, which covers approximately 6 kilometers and lasted nearly 90 minutes. Along the way, the raft slowly glided through the crystal-clear water, revealing tiny fish and shrimp frolicking beneath. Every time we passed a dam, the raft whizzed down, splashing huge waves. It was both thrilling and exciting. This collision of speed and excitement had me screaming!
🌄Scenery Along the Way:
The scenery along the way is picturesque, with karst peaks of varying shapes. Some resemble camels crossing a river, some like fairies descending to earth, and still others like five fingers reaching up to the sky. It's truly a marvel of nature's wonders. The riverside scenery is also captivating, with vast expanses of lush green rice paddies and the occasional wisp of smoke rising from farmhouses, creating a tranquil and peaceful rural scene.
💁♂️Service:
The raft driver was incredibly friendly. He not only expertly maneuvered the raft, but also explained the various scenic spots along the way and cracked jokes, making the entire rafting experience full of laughter and joy. Furthermore, the driver's photography skills were exceptional, proactively helping us find the perfect angles. Every photo we took could be a wallpaper!

Be sure to book your tickets in advance through the official platform. During peak season, tickets are extremely popular. I booked a week in advance and was able to secure my preferred time slot. Also, remember to bring your ID for easy ticket collection.

Summer rafting is so cool!
I went rafting in several places this summer, but Gulong Gorge was the most exciting. There were lots of curves and plenty of spots for water fights. But I'd still recommend going when the weather's a bit warmer. It was truly thrilling, and the staff were very friendly and interactive. I'll definitely be back next time.

This time I took a four-star cruise 🛳️ in Guilin, from Guilin to Yangshuo, which felt good. The seats in the upper cabin were comfortable 😌 and spacious. The scenery on both sides of the Li River was beautiful. I also ordered osmanthus fish as an extra dish on the boat, which tasted good!

It is very convenient to take the bus from Guilin North Station to the Elephant Trunk Hill Scenic Area. Visitors over 60 years old can enter the park directly with their ID cards, which saves the trouble of elderly people not being able to make reservations on their mobile phones. Having been to Gulong Gorge before, Huangteng Gorge's facilities and environment are probably more suitable for families or those with elderly parents. Perhaps due to the recent renovations, the shower rooms are larger and cleaner, and there are other activities available after the rafting. Gulong Gorge rafting is quite enjoyable, but the bathing and restrooms are relatively poor and cramped. Huangteng Gorge's two-way rafting course is suitable for different groups of people. The gentler Warrior section is ideal for families, while the more adventurous Warrior section is more exciting. Be careful with sun protection when visiting midday, as some sections are exposed to the sun.
Cons:
The full rafting course (Brave Warrior) was less than the two hours advertised on the website. It was probably a little over an hour, less than 1.5 hours!!! It's also possible that we didn't spend much time playing water fights on the gentle section.
It's recommended to arrive early so you don't have to wait in line for the restrooms or the rafting course.
Huangteng Gorge rafting is amazing.
The mountain spring water is crystal clear, and the 4.8-kilometer route boasts a dramatic drop. The "Waterfall Airboat" ride is incredibly thrilling! Choose from a variety of routes, and enjoy the canyon scenery. A must-do for summer heat relief!

This is a theme park perfect for children. ⚠️ Parking is in the underground parking lot 300 meters away from Window of the World.

The only free children's activity is the slide. Everything else is charged, including grass skiing, boating, and feeding the deer. If you want to try these activities, buy a children's package for a discount. The rest are fitness activities, and the journey is all uphill and downhill. If you're not physically fit, you'll have to ride horses.
The first thing that catches your eye upon entering the scenic area is the Hobbit's hut. It's a great place for photos and check-in, but it's also quite crowded. Then we walked around the lake. The grassland is particularly steep, not flat, and the hike to the highest point, 1314, is quite strenuous. If you prefer not to walk, you can ride a horse for 150 yuan. There was a comic festival recently, all about pumpkins, and golden pumpkins were placed along the path, making for great photos and check-in. Avoid going during thunderstorms. The weather on the mountain suddenly changed. At first, it was overcast and not very hot without the sun, but the breeze was quite cool. Soon, it started to drizzle, and within three minutes, it became a heavy downpour, forcing us to rush through the trip. It was easy to slip and fall on the grass in the rain. Most of the attractions are under maintenance, so the only activities currently open are grass skiing and feeding the sika deer. Both are optional. If you want to enjoy the grassland activities, you might consider buying a package ticket for a better deal. There is a restaurant, but prices are a bit high; a bottle of Pocari Sweat is 8 yuan. Overall, it's a good place for photos and check-in, and I think a one-time visit is enough. The distance is too long. I drove here by myself and took a very narrow and bad road. The navigation signal was not very good, so it was easy to get lost. The best route to Chenzhou is to take Provincial Highway 212. The road up the mountain also has many bends and turns. It was raining and foggy, so you must drive carefully.

The scenery is beautiful, with fog covering the Xiaodongjiang River, a paradise on earth. If you have time, you must walk there. Staying at the Yishang Hotel at the entrance of the Dongjiang Lake Scenic Area is perfect. It is only a few minutes' walk away, so you can sleep a little longer.

The environment is very good, and the mountain is shaded so it's not too hot. The rafting is not that exciting. Compared with other rafting in Qingyuan, it is relatively gentle and the drop is not too big. But there are many places to climb and play on the mountain haha
Bijia Mountain Scenic Area is a very pleasant and scenic spot, with fresh air and a pleasant hike up the mountain without feeling tired. This is my second time there, and I'm planning on going a third and fourth time. It's truly fun!
