I travelled with a guide from Merida and to fully enjoy the experience you need a guide who can explain the history of the mineral salts and the saltwater shrimp that are responsible for the flamingos’ pink colour.
Rio Lagartos - Pink Lake, a popular tourist attraction, has a lake covered with pink microorganisms and tiny shrimps, which makes the water surface a beautiful pink. The pink lake water visible to the naked eye makes people feel like they are in a fairy tale world, and it is easy to take unforgettable photos! There is also a chance to capture the figures of wild flamingos and crocodiles. The pink version of the "Sky Mirror" will turn into 2012 in a second when it encounters a rainstorm.

【Yucatán❥Merída】This is a noisy yet quiet, busy yet leisurely, connotative yet explicit city. You can listen to the chirping of birds amid the traffic 24 hours a day. [Value for money] Good, not expensive.
Merida Cathedral is the largest church in this ancient city and one of the landmark buildings here. The entire church covers a very large area, with two symmetrical tall bell towers. Standing on the top of the tower, you can overlook the entire ancient city of Merida.

Most tourists just use her as a stop between Cancún and Chichen Itzá or Mérida and usually don't stay. Valladolid is worth staying at least one night. Valladolid, México is as wonderful as Valladolid, España. The inconspicuous facades along the street often enter tens of meters deep, and there is a beautiful human landscape hidden inside. Since you can't see it from the street, it seems that every street is worth your "peeping".
Today we welcome tourists to Cancun for travel photography, and every photo is a hit! The scenery is so beautiful! You can’t miss the colorful colonial town of Valladolid for travel photography [Fun] There is a large square in the center of the town, with a fountain⛲️ and lover chairs, which adds a bit of romance! Many young people and guests coming and going will stop here to take pictures and visit small shops! [Scenery] Valladolid is dominated by orange, and brick red, green and blue walls are also the best choices for Internet celebrities to take photos! Welcome to travel to Mexico!

We really enjoyed the boat trip - departed at 7am for 2 hours with a friendly guide. He was very knowledgeable and told us a lot about the birds. There are mangroves and a reliable captain. He was very attentive and knew where the best views and photo ops were. We really enjoyed the trip and would highly recommend.
The Lagartos area in Rio Lagardo is a paradise for swamp wildlife. You can take a boat tour and you will see crocodiles, hippos, and flocks of flamingos along the way. The scenery is also very beautiful. It is definitely a paradise for wildlife and is worth a visit.

This is Merida's Plaza de Armas, a typical European colonial city square. It is surrounded by centuries-old buildings, and there are vintage horse-drawn carriages on the square. You can take a ride on the carriage to admire the various buildings in the Plaza de Armas, which is full of nostalgia.
Merida's Plaza de Armas is the largest city square in this ancient city. The square is surrounded by flowers and is colorful all year round. The church and the town hall are also in this square. You can take a horse-drawn carriage to tour the square, which has a very retro feel and is worth experiencing.

If you have time, you must come here for a visit. It is so beautiful, a masterpiece of nature. Even though it is scorching hot outside, you will feel very cool after coming in. There are fish swimming in the water underground. It is so beautiful.
This is a wonderful geological landscape in the Yucatan Peninsula. Due to the geological subsidence in the area, a natural pit was formed. The groundwater generated formed a natural pit swimming pool. The water in the pool is very clear and presents a deep blue. Swimming here is really wonderful, mysterious and very comfortable.
