Visited during the off-peak season before the Chinese 5/1 holidays so it was fairly empty. In fact, aside from a few scenic spots filled with photographers, the broader park was a bit of a sad ghost town.. perhaps it’s pricey for local standards, but makes for an enjoyable sunset stroll. There is a flagship night show that requires extra tickets/payments, but we only learned about it there.
The entire park is beautifully landscaped, offering stunning views both during the day and at night. Many beautiful women, all wearing stunning makeup, come to take photos, adding to the beauty of the Tang Paradise. Evening performances are available, so be sure to book tickets in advance during peak season. Watching a performance on Chuanshan Mountain is a truly unique experience.

This trip to Xi'an was a decision I won't regret! I bought a package for two adults and one child, and was even given a free upgrade to VIP seats. What incredible luck! The show, which spans the Banpo period to the present day, boasts a variety of spectacular special effects that truly captivate. It's definitely worth bringing the kids along; it's both educational and fun. Highly recommended!

We went to the Forest of Steles early in the morning on August 3rd, thinking that there wouldn't be many people there. It turned out to be the day with the most tourists and the weather was very hot. However, the tour guide, Xiao Huang, was very serious and professional. He talked to us nonstop for more than two hours without even drinking a sip of water. Both adults and children gained a lot!
Can't make an appointment at the National Museum of Chinese History? The Xi'an Forest of Steles Museum is also fantastic!
There's so much to see, it's impossible not to. Yan Zhenqing participated in suppressing the An Lushan Rebellion, was marginalized by Right Prime Minister Yang Guozhong, and even dissed the eunuch Yu Chaoen. Niu Ma arrived in Chang'an from his exile in Lingnan. It's a real eye-opener.

I absolutely rave about the Xi'an Museum. I couldn't get an appointment with the Shaanxi History Museum, so I had to use the Xi'an Museum as a substitute. The visit was fantastic. The issues of poor layout and crowds, as some reviews have mentioned, were completely absent. The Small Wild Goose Pagoda is absolutely stunning. The Wild Goose Pagoda Morning Bell lives up to its name. The cultural and creative products are super cute. I shopped a lot along the way. Each of the ten collections is truly remarkable. The instructor was very professional. To make up for our regret of not going to the Shaanxi History Museum, he even highlighted several of the museum's artifacts. The Xi'an Museum has the same large gold cake as the Shaanxi History Museum. The cultural and creative gold cake is incredibly realistic. Don't forget to buy one.
Tickets for the Xi'an Museum can also be booked on the mini program. The tour guide's explanation is very clear and detailed, allowing children to learn knowledge beyond books from what they see and hear. It is a very good experience!

To see the world from a thousand miles away, we went up to the next level and came to the Stork Tower in the textbook. The design was very reasonable. Because the weather was hot, we took a sightseeing bus for 10 yuan per person. When we got downstairs, there was an elevator directly to the top of the Stork Tower. There was a drone aerial photography project on the roof. When we went there, it cost 50 yuan for 4 minutes of shooting. I think it was very worthwhile. It's quite good. I went there with my son ten years ago. This year I took my daughter there again. It might be during the May Day holiday. There were so many people that I bought tickets for the beast area but couldn't get on the bus.

A week before my trip to Xi'an, I booked a guided tour with Teacher Qin Yao after comparing many options. The visit was truly worthwhile. Through a combination of explanations and questions, Teacher Qin gave both the children and adults a basic understanding of archaeology. Even three hours felt like more than enough, and we left feeling incredibly satisfied.
The Archaeological Museum is really nice. It is a very suitable enlightenment course for history lovers. The method is very systematic. The teacher also teaches very well. The interaction is very inspiring and can communicate well with children.
