Shaanxi History Museum is the first large-scale modern national museum in China, famous for its rich collection of cultural relics and deep historical heritage. It is located at No. 91 Xiaozhai East Road, Yanta District, Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province. The museum is a Tangfeng complex of "Central Palace, Siqi Chonglou", which integrates ethnic traditions, local characteristics and the spirit of the times. The museum has more than 1.71 million cultural relics (groups), with the focus of the collection of bronzeware, Tao Yu, Han and Tang gold and silverware, and murals of Tang Tombs. Shaanxi History Museum has many special exhibitions, and the following are some recommended exhibitions: 1. "Shaanxi Ancient Civilization" exhibition. This is the basic display of the museum, divided into prehistoric to Qin, Han to the Northern and Southern Dynasties, Sui and Tang Dynasties and later three exhibition halls, showing important cultural relics from the Lantian apes to the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Exhibits include bronze in the western Zhou Dynasty, terracotta warriors and horses, jade in the Han Dynasty, gold and silver in the Tang Dynasty, etc., showing the glory of Shaanxi in different historical periods. 2. "Tang Dynasty mural treasure hall". The exhibition of Zhang Huai Prince's Tomb "Gushitu" "Polo Map", "Gongnv Map" and other mural treasures. These murals depict the etiquette norms, living customs, clothing characteristics of the Tang Dynasty, etc., are important materials for studying Tang Dynasty society. 3. "Datang legacy treasure Hejiacun treasure unearthed cultural relics" exhibition. More than 300 precious cultural relics (groups) unearthed in Hejiacun treasure including jade, gold and silverware, coins, etc. Among them, the lotus petal gold bowl, the gold animal head onyx cup and other cultural relics exquisite craftsmanship, showing the magnificentness of the Tang Dynasty. In addition, there are special exhibitions: 1. "Qin and Han civilization" series exhibition. The exhibition includes "The same Qin and Han civilization theme exhibition" "City and Ling" "Technology and beauty" and so on. Through rich cultural relics and multimedia interactive installations, the political, economic and cultural achievements of the Qin and Han period are displayed. 2. "Yuting·Kyuzhou: Collision and Aggregation between Early Civilizations in China" exhibition. 450 exhibits (groups) from 48 cultural and expo units across the country were gathered to discuss the origin of Chinese civilization and the process of early Chinese formation. 3. "Ancient Horse Culture Exhibition in China". More than 150 horse cultural relics from previous generations, including Qin pommel horse and Tang Sancai pommel horse, show the role of horses in ancient production, life, military and other aspects.
