Vietnam War Historical Sites 🇻🇳
Hello everyone! We're going to introduce another important tourist attraction in Vietnam that reflects the Vietnam War and its reunification.
That is, the DMZ tour. We visited on June 19, 2026.
The places we visited included:
· Quang Tri Citadel, which served as a North Vietnamese military base for 81 days and 81 nights of fighting.
· Da Krong Bridge, a bridge built along the Ho Chi Minh Trail, used for marching towards South Vietnam.
· Khe Sanh Valley American military base, an American military camp from that era, displaying information about the war, aircraft used during the war, tanks, bombs, soldier barracks, and the mountainous terrain that gave rise to Vietnam's famous coffee cultivation.
· DMZ 17th, the 17th parallel dividing North and South Vietnam, the most tense point in the world at that time. It was a war zone with troops stationed there, no crossing was allowed, and it featured a flagpole, an old North Vietnamese police station, and a monument to mothers and children.
· Vinh Moc Tunnels, a series of tunnels forming a traditional North Vietnamese village. The underground shelters during the Cold War had kitchens and bedrooms, just like a real home.
Anyone who enjoys history shouldn't miss this! Don't forget to leave a review! #VietnamTravel #CentralVietnam #Vietnam #vietnam🇻🇳 #History #VietnamWar #travel2026
