Where does an Oyster Card cover on Thameslink services?

Thameslink typically covers a North-South route stretching from Bedford through London to England’s south coast, arriving in Brighton. However, an Oyster Card does not cover all of these destinations and will only be valid for a specific central stretch.

When taking Thameslink services, Oyster Cards are valid between London Zones 1-6. Below, you can find a full list of stations which accept Oyster Cards as a valid form of payment.

Remember to check for both your departing and arriving stations - just because an Oyster Card works at one station does not mean it’ll work at the other. You will have an extension fare charged to your card which will be deducted from your Pay as You Go balance. If this balance becomes negative, you won’t be able to travel again until you top it up.
