With departures every 10 minutes, catching the train from London Waterloo to Twickenham is your fastest route to the rugby. South Western Railway operates the service, and the total journey time is between 20 and 30 minutes. The service runs through Vauxhall, Clapham Junction and Richmond before reaching Twickenham, meaning you've got plenty of options if you're coming from different parts of London.
For super keen rugby fans, the first train leaves Waterloo at 05:26 and arrives at 05:48. You don't need to peel yourself out of bed that early on a weekend, though. With so many departures throughout the day, you can leave at a time that suits you.
If you want even more choice, Richmond station offers both National Rail and Underground connections, plus there's often a shuttle bus to the stadium on big match days. The District Line from Central London gets you to Richmond, then it's either a quick train hop or a bus ride.

The 100-mile journey from Bristol to Twickenham takes between 2 hours 30 minutes and 3 hours with most routes requiring just one or two changes. You'll typically take the train from Bristol Temple Meads to London Paddington.
You can jump off at Reading for a quick train to Twickenham or stay on until the end of the line. From Paddington, your best bet is to take the Victoria Line to Victoria, where you'll catch a train to Clapham Junction and change there for the service to Twickenham. Birmingham to Twickenham Stadium
If you're heading from Birmingham to London for a day of scrums and tackles at Twickenham, you'll want to hop on the Avanti West Coast train from Birmingham New Street to London Euston. You've then got two solid options.

There are a few changes required on this 83-mile trip, but there are so many frequent departures that you won't have to worry about missed connections. Take the Avanti West Coast to London Euston. When you arrive, head down to Underground and hop a Victoria Line train south to Vauxhall. From there, trains go every 10 minutes towards Twickenham Station.
