What is the nearest train station to the Wembley Stadium?

Technically, the aptly named Wembley Stadium is the closest station, but often there are more connections—and therefore quicker journey times—into Wembley Central. This is especially true if you're coming from other cities in the UK.

Wembley Central lies about a mile walk from the stadium, which takes 15–20 minutes on a regular day. Of course, give yourself extra time on event days when 90,000 other people are heading to the stadium, too. The atmosphere's always electric.

From Wembley Central, exit and turn right onto High Road. Walk straight to the Wembley Triangle junction, then turn left onto Wembley Hill Road. Cross to the right side using the pedestrian crossings, continue over White Horse Bridge, and follow the crowds to the stadium entrance. Just keep in mind there may be diversions, road closures and crowd control on event days.

The station is managed by the London Underground and served by the Bakerloo Line, London Overground, Southern, and London Northwestern Railway. You'll find ticket machines, toilets, Wi-Fi, waiting rooms, and full step-free access with lifts and ramps. The ticket office opens Monday–Friday 07:00–19:00 and Saturday 09:00–17:00, though you can access the station outside these hours.

Wembley Park is another nearby station with the Jubilee and Metropolitan lines of the London Underground. There's also North Wembley station, although the walk is a little further away.
