Renfe Children Fare

Renfe offers a 40% discount on ticket prices for children aged 4 to 13. These children are allowed to select seats on AVE, AVE International, and Avant trains, and they can make changes or request refunds based on the ticket type, which may involve a fee. Children under four travel for free but do not receive a reserved seat. On Cercanías trains, children under six can travel for free without a reserved seat.

Renfe Disabled People Fare

Disabled passengers can benefit from Renfe's discounts, with savings of up to 40%. For just €6, you can get a Tarjeta Dorada, which allows you to travel on AVE, Avant, and Cercanías trains for a year. The discount on Avant trains is greater during weekends. Renfe Spanish Large Families Fare

Renfe Over-60s Fare

Elige Confort

Elige Confort costs a bit more than Elige Estándar. The notable difference is the wider seats and offer more leg room as they are XL Confort seats.

Prémium

The most expensive fare, Prémium, comes with unlimited free changes and refunds, and XL Confort Seating.
