Renfe Over-60s Fare

Renfe offers up to 40% discounts for those aged over 60 with the Tarjeta Dorada. The card costs €6 for one year, €12 for two years, and €15 for three years. If you are travelling on AVE and AVE international trains, you can get a 25% discount. For Avant trains, discounts vary between weekdays and weekends: 25% during weekdays and 40% on weekends. All services provided with discounted tickets are the same as those with full-price tickets, including the policies for changes and refunds.

Renfe Spanish Large Families Fare

Renfe supports large families in Spain with discounted fares, offering 20% for general and 50% for special category families on AVE and Larga Distancia trains. However, these discounts are not valid on AVE International, Avant, or Cercanías trains. Additionally, single-parent families can enjoy discounts on Rodalies services in Catalonia by presenting a certificate issued by the Generalitat de Catalunya.

Renfe Group Fare

Groups of 4 to 9 people travelling on AVE or AVE International trains will receive an 8% discount. Groups of 10 to 25 people can get up to a 50% discount on AVE, AVE International, Avant, and Cercanías trains. For groups larger than 25 people, you can submit a quote for approval. Please note that all Renfe group tickets are non-changeable. If you need to cancel, the entire booking must be cancelled according to the original ticket's terms and conditions, and a fee will apply.
