There are no direct trains from London Euston to Heathrow airport, however, there are three main options for this journey:
- London Underground to London Paddington, then Heathrow Express services to Heathrow Airport
- London Underground to Tottenham Court Road, then Elizabeth Line services to Heathrow Airport
- London underground services to Green Park or Leicester Square, then Piccadilly Line underground services to Heathrow Airport

London Euston to Heathrow Airport via Heathrow Express
The fastest option for travel between London Euston and Heathrow Airport involves taking the Heathrow Express from London Paddington. To get to London Paddington, you’ll need to walk from Euston station to Euston Square and take the Circle or Hammersmith & City line, or take a bus or taxi.
From London Paddington, the Heathrow Express is a fast non-stop service straight to Heathrow Airport, departing every 15 minutes, usually from platforms 6 and 7 (although do check before you board!). The Heathrow Express takes just 15 minutes to reach Heathrow Central station, where you’ll find Terminals 2 and 3 accessible on foot and a free shuttle bus to Terminal 4.
For Terminal 5 departures, you’ll need to stay on board for a further 6-minute journey. In total, the journey from London Euston to Heathrow Airport, including travel from London Euston to Paddington, takes around 45 minutes, making it generally the quickest of the three options for getting to Heathrow.
Heathrow Express services are designed for airport travellers with plenty of space for luggage storage and free Wi-Fi. There’s also the option to upgrade to Business First Class, where you’ll enjoy larger seats, extra legroom, power sockets at all seats and Fast Track Airport Security on arrival at Heathrow.
London Euston to Heathrow Airport via the Elizabeth Line
Making use of the Elizabeth line is the most direct route from London Euston to Heathrow Airport, as you can depart directly from Euston station. You’ll need to catch the Northern Line to Tottenham Court Road station and then hop onto the Elizabeth Line to Heathrow Airport.
Be sure to choose a suitable Elizabeth Line service that is terminating at Heathrow Airport, as some services take an alternative route towards Reading. All Elizabeth Line services towards Heathrow Airport stop at the Heathrow Terminals 2 and 3 station, with some continuing to Heathrow Terminal 4 and some to Heathrow Terminal 5. London Euston to Heathrow Airport via London Underground
The third way to travel from London Euston to Heathrow Airport is to use the Tube for the entire route. From Euston underground station, you’ll need to take either the Victoria Line to Green Park or the Northern Line to Leicester Square. From either of these stations, you can then catch the Piccadilly Line all the way to Heathrow Airport.
Like with the Elizabeth Line, all routes to Heathrow stop at the station for Terminals 2 and 3, with some travelling to Terminal 4 and others to Terminal 5.
