As of 19th May, LNER will operate a brand new direct train service between Bradford Forster Square and London Kings Cross from only £30.60. This expansion will also see the introduction of an all-new platform at Forster Square station, meaning it’s never been easier to visit from the capital!
Expect five additional services per day, 232% more seats, and a healthy boost to Bradford’s economy to follow, with an estimated £4 million a year and a CoC partnership helping the 2025 City of Culture become even greater.
You can expect Standard Class ticket prices around £30.60 to £38.60 (with a family offering for trains between Bradford Forster Square and London Kings Cross around £60.50 to be implemented soon), and First Class tickets around £90.20 each way.
That’s not all! LNER are looking to celebrate Bradford even further with the launch of the new Routes podcast featuring local legend Dynamo, a series of special perks bespoke to Bradford, and a subtle nod to BCoC with a curry available onboard from May.
