From Sapporo to Abashiri, the most convenient way is to take the plane. Take an early flight in the morning, and you can get to Abashiri at 10 am. The flight time from Sapporo to Abashiri is about 45 minutes, and the ticket cost is about 10,000 yen. You can also enjoy the view on the way to the other angle. The most worthy of abattoir in winter is the drifting ice from the Okhotsk Strait to the Okhotsk Sea, which is the end point of the sea freezing in the southern Okhotsk Sea at 44 degrees north latitude. At the end of January and early February of each year, the Amur, the largest river in the Far East, flows along the border between China and Russia, finally pouring into the Okhotsk Strait, where fresh water meets seawater and changes into massive ice, drifting all the way to Abashiri in the direction of wind and water. At the Aurora Stream Pier, on the Aurora Icebreaker, sailing into the Okhotsk Sea, huge ice cubes come up against the oars and sway across the sides of the ship... Stand tightly on deck and look down at the ice cubes that come from the ocean crossing. The waves that rise from the hull are like waltzes dancing on ice. The Aurora Icebreaker travels for an hour in the ocean and you can see birds or animals that come with the ice, such as tiger-headed sea eagles, seals, etc. The most unique of these are the ice-flowing angel manatees. However, the chance to see manatees is really a matter of luck. But don't worry, at the Abashiri Ice Gallery, you can see the Little Angel up close. The Abashiri Ice is seasonal and the best viewing period is from the end of January to the beginning of March. The ice-flowing arrival in 2018 was the day before we arrived at Abashiri, on the night of February 1st, before drifting to the Abashiri sea with the help of the wind. [Sights Raiders] Ticket price: The price of taking the Aurora icebreaker is 3,300 yen. Every day, there is 4-5 Class highlights: On the cold Amur River, the silvery land is eye-open in the shocking light of the south floating ice. Beautiful small tips: 1. A little cold, remember to wear more 2. The Aurora sunset cruiser will stop running if there is no ice flow.

When the icebreaker left the shore, it was just an endless sea. After sailing for a period of time, you could see the shadowy figure of the drift ice, and gradually a large number of drift ice approached the ship. It seems to be in the polar region, surrounded by drift ice and our Aurora.
There are a lot of tourists on the Abashiri icebreaker. They queue up in an orderly manner and find a place to sit or stand outside to watch. There are buns, coffee, blue beer and other small gifts to buy. The experience is good and it is recommended.
Very lucky to see drift ice, NO.1. The environment here is relatively simple and quiet like a lake, very suitable for rest and exercise. The air is fresh and away from impetuousness. Although the hardware of the hotel is simple but it has all kinds of poisons, especially Yoshinoya's meals are very suitable for the Chinese people's appetite and the price is moderate. Come again if you have a chance, stay a few more days and enjoy your life!
We were lucky to go when there was a huge area of ice floating on the sea and the boats were amazing to walk through
