love those dinosaur skeletons
great little museum to read about the geology of the area. Love the dinosaur skeletons. rangers were super friendly and it was a nice stop to get out of the heat.
We entered Petrified Forest national park from the south so this was our first stop, There are a few exhibits and of course the gift shop was open. But there was no movie. The people working there ...
Must see first stop plus there are the giant logs loop and gift shop
Nice with friendly employees and lots of info. A must do and the building is pretty cool as well. Also there is nice gift shop down the hill from here.
This is a cool way (especially for kids) to start your visit to the park. This museum/visitor center has a number of fossil remains that will give some perspective on the history of the area.
Some of the exhibits were closed but they still had some neat displays of dinosaur fossils found in the area. Right behind the museum is one of the log trails. There also is a small gift shop that had...
