This place is incredibly popular with the locals and the service is fast and furious. Apparently it&#39;s been going since 1946 so something of an institution. It&#39;s basically just a whole in the wall with seating arranged outside a derelict fly-posted shop front. Late at night you&#39;d never even know that by day it&#39;s the busiest place in the square! Pork souvlakia are served with a piquant tomato sauce and lots of black pepper instead on the ubiquitous tsatziki which actually made a nice change. Two souvlakia and two beers came to just over 7 euro, so incredibly cheap. Glad to have visited an Athenian institution.

Friends interested in the food of this place, remember not to miss it, it is a place worth visiting once. Although the restaurant space is not large, it is no different for guests who are not particular about it.

Shopping is particularly tired, want to find a place to rest, rest, just met this Lukumades dessert shop, their desserts really super exquisite, one bite.

After I came, I chose a Greek barbecue restaurant. The barbecue is more general. Compared with the later food, it is very special. If you are too lazy to choose, you can choose a barbecue platter. Everything is a bit. Athens features roast lamb, but these two have no specialties. There is a Greek salad with a flying tower and goat milk products. It&#39;s unpalatable, maybe Greeks like it... The waiter is very indifferent, ignores it, and will not help you pack it, and directly bring the box bag over to finish.

The grilled salmon at Lithos restaurant (Calamari, Grilled Squid), is also very good here. Unfortunately, Zhuyu was in front of Calamari, which was eaten at another restaurant in Plaka, Athens, and used more fat than here, and the roast was more tender and juicy. In contrast, in Calamari alone, I still eat better in Athens.

Came here two years ago on a recommendation by a local. Nothing has changed. Kosta and his family continue to supply lunch for hungry locals and tourists alike. On the day we visited the crowd was very much local, with hardly a tourist in sight, despite this little hole in the wall being located only a short distance from the main tourist strip. It&#39;s perfect for a quick energiser snack or lunch between sightseeing and shopping. Sit on plastic chairs, or barstools, or find a bench in the little square. The menu is in Greek only, but as it is very limited it is relatively easy to work out what is what. And Kosta and Co do speak English, and are more than happy to translate. This is the tastiest souvlaki we came across on our travels. It comes packaged up in a foil tray with tomato, a slight spicy sauce, chips and pita. All for a couple of Euro. Yum!
