There are too many museums in Abu Dhabi, UAE. They are all very modern buildings. The museums are all world-famous architectural designs, and each one is shocking. They store ancient art from the Arab period.
The Zayed National Museum is a great place to visit, with a lot of information about desert life items, ways and so on, to get a better understanding of how the desert lives! There are some architectural styles too!
The National Museum in Abu Dhabi is really worth a visit, inside it has a lot of things to see about their way of life in the desert, how they survive, and there are pictures, videos!
A good place to learn about history, but it’s a bit small and inexpensive
Located in the Abu Dhabi National Museum, near the Sultan Castle, it is the oldest museum in the United Arab Emirates. The museum is divided into two major parts: ethnic and archaeological history, which allows visitors to follow the remains of the land that lived in the emirate 7,500 years ago, and to gain an overall understanding of the emirate's traditions and culture. The national history section of the museum shows the state before the oil discovery, most of which are very poor, and the collection of black and white photographs and stereotypes from the 1960s, displaying the tools and methods of the past, and the different lives of people during the day. The costume and jewellery section contains a 1780-year-old Maria Theresa coin, which is used as a currency and ornament in the Arabian Peninsula in the southeast. A necklace made of Maria Theresa coins, decorated with silver powder, is very popular with young women. The way farming is done and the equipment is shown. Fishing and beading, which have been around the Gulf for thousands of years, are also good reappearances. Traditional instruments and art are also on display, with two 17th-century verses and six Korans all decorated with ingenuity, a series of weapons and details of falcon activities. A small hall of the museum also exhibits gifts from home and abroad to Sheikh Zayed.
This museum is very luxurious, it looks like several large wings from the outside, like the wings of the fin are beautiful and spectacular, and of course there are a lot of national collections inside. Well worth a visit.
