Walking through the Acropolis feels like stepping into history itself. The ruins, bathed in golden light, tell stories of gods, philosophers, and civilizations past. It’s a breathtaking reminder of how far we’ve come—and how much beauty remains in what endures.

The Greek word for the Acropolis means "the city of the mountains". There are many acropolis in Greece, but the Acropolis has been the pride of the Greeks ever since it was built two or six hundred years ago. The Acropolis is located on a limestone hill 150 meters southwest of Athens, built in the 5th century BC, and is a holy site to commemorate the victory of the Hippo War and sacrifice to Athena, the patron saint of Athens. The main building, the Parthenon, is backed by the Athenian Prakka maze of houses, and stands steeply on one side of the sea, towering in the blue sea and blue sky. In addition to the Parthenon, the Acropolis has a mountain gate, the Temple of Victory, the Temple of Irektion, and the Adikus Concert Hall. The chief architect was the famous Fidias. Six hundred years later, the Roman historian Prutuck said of the Acropolis: "The tower is towering, magnificent, beautiful, unparalleled", and the 19th-century French writer Flaubert called the Acropolis "the most beautiful source of history and art." The acropolis in the sun is a monarch dressed in a layer of gold, on the cliff, overlooking the state, majestic, and behind it a large area of houses scattered, twists and turns, wine restaurants and restaurants are in stark contrast. But the beauty of the Acropolis is not only the beauty of the sun.

Theater of Herodes Atticus and Caryatids and Parthenon However, the Caryatids in the Acropolis are not authentic. The authentic ones are in the nearby Acropolis Museum and... the British Museum Like most Greek temples, this temple was also used as a treasury. 1. It was built in 447 BC to replace the old Parthenon (destroyed by the Persians in 480 BC). 2. For a while, it was the treasury of the Delian League (which later evolved into the Athenian Empire). 3. In the 6th century AD, the Parthenon was converted into a church dedicated to the Virgin Mary (the original Athena was also a virgin). 4. In the early 1460s, after being conquered by the Ottoman Turks, it was used as a mosque. 5. It was used as a gunpowder magazine by the Turkish army in 1687 and was unfortunately severely damaged in an explosion. 6. By 1800, only half of the Parthenon statues survived. After obtaining approval from the Ottoman government, British Ambassador Sir Elgin began to transport half of the surviving statues back to Britain at his own expense starting in 1801, and they began to be exhibited in the British Museum in 1817.

The scene must be watched with the background story, otherwise you will just be looking at a pile of stone pillars. The temple is built with limestone, and the roof is made of marble. It is supported by 34 Corinthian columns about 17 meters high, 13 long and 6 wide. There are exquisite marble carvings on the gables and the porch of the inner hall, and there are many Athenian-style statues on the eaves.

The Athens Stadium is a more important place to hold the sports games. The facilities of the entire stadium are very many. The sports competitions here are also very rich. The scale of the Athens Stadium is quite large. I like to come here to visit and play.

The Roman Agora is located in the Plaka district, which is the most ancient neighborhood in Athens with Greek culture and style. The "Tower of the Winds", the most ancient Greek relic in the Roman Agora, is well preserved in the Plaka district. It was built around the 1st century AD and is an octagonal building. There are different reliefs of the wind god on each of the exterior walls, which are vividly and beautifully carved. Timekeeping tools such as water clocks and sundials are placed inside the wind tower, showing the progress of technology at that time. In addition, the remaining Athena Arch and the few remaining stone pillars in the Roman Market are also places where tourists in the Plaka district can visit.

Hadrian Library is also a very interesting place. The library is very rich in introduction. You can understand the history here in advance. The high city wall part can be visited up close. It is also the destruction of the history experienced. There are not many residual parts.

春风不曾谋面
The Temple of Irektion, one of the famous buildings of the Acropolis, was originally a stone temple for the remains of the eight saints. It is said that this is the place where the goddess Athena and the sea god Poseidon fought for the protection of the goddess of Athens. The Temple of Iraktion, located on a bumpy high ground south of the Temple of Erehshou, was built between 421 BC and 405 BC. It is a typical representative of the Ionian style of the Acropolis architecture. It is the final completion of the plan for the reconstruction of the Acropolis formulated by Perricus. Important building with a very sophisticated design.[1] The Temple of Irektion has three temples, dedicated to Zeus, the Greek god of the sea, Poseidon, and Hephistus, the blacksmith, and two distinctive colonnades connecting them. The temple of Iraktion, the ceiling and floor of the northern columns of the temple have square holes, which are said to have been pierced by Poseidon's Trident.
