Arrive early at the valley of temples and beat the crowds. Absolutely amazing site. Bus # 2/ goes directly there.
Go at night in summer
It’s nice to see the sun fall over the temple pillars and wait until it’s lit up with lights. It’s wirth the wait and to avoid summer heat

Quite a bit of climbing to get to the remains of the temple. You may want to consider if it is worth the climb.
