What people are saying:

Tuenmen is a ruined attraction, almost deserted, not self-driving. If you want to take pictures of the ancient village, you can take a photo, you can make a film. Very quaint village still has a little people living, shabby, no modern decoration. We used free tickets for eight provinces and cities, and only gave parking 10 yuan. I heard that the price is 50 people, and I will definitely regret it. I am psychologically prepared that this is a niche attraction, but there is no feeling of maintenance of the scenic spot at all. I was unexpected and disappointed.

The eight villages are laid out in an orderly fashion, with appropriate density, capable of independent action as well as mutual support. It's a masterpiece military defensive system. The Yunshan Fort and Ben Fort, out of the eight forts, retains classic fort structure and local culture relatively well, and have been listed among national key cultural protection organizations.
