Jomon ruins kinda hard to get to but really worth your time!
This place is really a hidden gem in Aomori City. It is made of 2 sites; a museum in an old elementary school building and a stone-circle site that's about another 10 minutes drive from the school. We...

The Komakino ruins went down the dirt mountain road and enjoyed the surrounding beech and maple autumn leaves beautifully. There is no guide at the ruins, so it's a good idea to visit the Komakino ruins after visiting the Jomon school building of the Komakino ruins protection center at the foot of the mountain in advance. There is no guide and there are few materials in the acorn house at the entrance of the ruins. Please visit the school building, where many earthenware and hands-on learning are prepared.
A ruins where you can feel the life of Jomon people.

When I arrived at the parking lot, the person in charge came out of the building and asked me if I would like to guide you. There is also a large bus parking space, but only our car was parked. It seems that this ruins have long been used as fields and they have known that a lot of stones will come out, but it was found by a local high school archaeological club. ...
