Observation tower in Arcachon
It gives a 360º view of Arcachon and the bay. Great viewpoint to see the interesting architecture of the place.
Worth going but maybe not as exciting as one would anticipate
This is an interesting structure - be warned it sways a bit! The views from the top are interesting as opposed to awe-inspriring
Different to any other Observation Platform
We didn't climb up the tower as it has a steep, narrow set of stairs where it is not possible to pass people. Despite that it was worth visiting as there is a nice area at the tower base to enjoy the ...
Scary but worth it
It's a very tall observation tower, thin, and very scary especially when there's a strong wind. But rest assured, the tower has been there for a long time and will not fall down. You get a fantasti...
Best sunset
Went up just half hour before sunset and enjoyed the view over Arcachon and the bay. Not being too comfortable with heights, the unstable stairs were scary but it’s worth it.:-)
