Observation deck - Asahikawa Airport
Observation deck at 3rd floor of the airport. Great views during daytime especially in winters with the snowy mountain ranges in background. A good visit while you are waiting for the bus at the aipor...
The Asahikawa Airport Terminal Building is located in Higashi Kagura Town, not Asahikawa City. The concept is a comfortable and functional airport building with a view of the surroundings, including the Daisetsu Mountains, as the entrance to the sky of northern Hokkaido. Parking fee 1 Free until time. 3 Visited after noon during consecutive holidays. 3 I went straight to the observation deck on the floor, but there was no plane, and the surrounding guests were unattended, so it seemed unsatisfactory.
It's narrow. It wasn't like looking over the scenery.

Visited on 2021 9 Month 17 It was on the 3 floor of Asahikawa Airport. The front side is a lobby with a glass bench, and you can go out from the side door. The impression that came out is that there is no more liberation than I expected. It may be because of the roof, but I felt that it was smaller than the observation deck at other airports. That's why it was a little disappointing that it didn't feel like overlooking the scenery.
There is nothing around Asahikawa Airport, so the airplanes are more noticeable. Since it is summer, there is no snow problem at all, but it seems that even in winter, it boasts a considerable number of arrival rates.

Not many flights.

The terminal has been cleaned.
The terminal building has been rebuilt and has become clean. The scenery you see remains the same. You can now see it from a warm room.
